Have you showered yet? There's a good chance that, following that Pay-Per-View card last weekend, you might have a thin film of filth all over you. Floyd Mayweather is probably still the best fighter on the planet, but his ego was deflated some after a prolonged tussle with Marcos Maidana in their rematch. That was interesting to some, but not much more on the paid card was, unfortunately. This week on TQBR Radio, Patrick Connor of Queensberry Rules welcomes Alex McClintock, deputy editor for ABC Radio National and Queensberry Rules. Not much is on tap for the next week or so, but Orlando Salido, George Groves and a few others may pop up in conversation. Thanks for tuning in!
We're boxing fans, which means we're more or less combat-ready, prepared for some really funky stuff. If nothing else, this rematch between Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana has a much, much better tagline than their first bout, which was called "The Moment." This one is "Mayhem." They stuck with the M theme, presumably because you have, "Mayweather," "Marcos" and "Maidana," and someone just got that ear worm. This week on TQBR Radio, James Foley of Bad Left Hook and Queensberry Rules' Patrick Connor preview Mayweather-Maidana II and its undercard, but also last weekend's nice flyweight action, Carl Frampton vs Kiko Martinez II, and the Showtime card featuring Adrien Broner, Lucas Matthysse and Andre Berto. Thanks for tuning in!

"Once people start making power moves without communicating with me, then I think it's time for us to move our separate ways. I mean, I'm glad the fight is over with, but I think when May comes around and you guys see All Access in May, I'll have a totally new team and probably a totally new staff. We may make a lot of changes in my team, but Al Haymon ain't going nowhere," stated undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather, who recently informed FightHype.com that he planned on making some changes to his team in the very near future. So on that note we will talk about these new revelations as well as Yahoo sports claiming the amount of pay per views Mayweather Vs Maidana sold, fake tickets sells in Las Vegas. Here we are, a good few days removed from Carl Froch giving George Groves the old "push and a pull" treatment. We've had a nice little string of fights, and the huge KO by Froch over Groves was the decisive ending that many were hoping for. There was also the unusual and suspect-looking stoppage of the Nonito Donaire vs Simpiwe Vetyeka fight to complain about and make fun of, which should come naturally to Bad Left Hook's James Foley and Patrick Connor of Queensberry-Rules. Also to be tackled, Sergio Martinez's attempt to defend the middleweight title against Miguel Cotto this weekend, plus somewhat tragic undercard. Thanks for tuning in!

Every once in a while, we as boxing fans are reminded that "that's why they get in there and actually fight." Sometimes match ups sound absurd or likely one-sided, and because of that we lose sight of the old, throw away phrase that, in boxing, "anything is possible." This past weekend, Miguel Cotto usurped the middleweight throne with no fistic regrets, grinding Sergio Martinez to dust, and making approximately 3/4 of the boxing community look stupid in the meantime. What does it mean? Was Sergio Martinez shot? Was Miguel Cotto underrated? Has anyone ever actually beaten Tetris? What was in Marsellus Wallace's suitcase, damnit??? Bad Left Hook's James Foley and Patrick Connor of Queensberry Rules will attempt to answer at least a few of those questions. This week, the asinine aphrodisiacs are joined by Eric Raskin, boxing contributor to ESPN, HBO and Grantland, and author of The Moneymaker Effect. Also, check out Raskin's podcast with William Dettloff, Ring Theory. Also on the menu, a preview of Ruslan Provodnikov vs Chris Algieri. Thanks for tuning in!
