Let's Talk Too! Florence J. Beauchene

    in Books

    I'm your host

    Author Sharnel

    Florence J. Beauchene,

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Florence J. Beauchene has known since age 12 that she wanted
to be a writer. Florence enjoyed writing short stories as a hobby, and later wrote for her high
school and college newspapers. She realized early that writing was never boring because there
was always a story to tell.
Her earliest inspiration for story-telling came from Dr. Maya Angelou. Florence felt connected
to the poet and author after reading ‘I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings’ and learning Dr.
Angelou once lived in St. Louis. She also admired Dr. Angelou’s masterful way with the English
language, using word descriptions not only to help readers visualize settings, but also to feel
what was happening during each scene.
It is with that admiration and passion that Florence developed her writing voice as she strives to
connect with her readers through written expressions. Florence’s motto for her craft: “Writing
with purpose books that change people’s world!”
Florence chose to write the ‘On the Way to Love’ erotica series under the pen name Jewel
Fontaine to give the series a distinct brand – separate from her other writing genres.
Florence currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a master’s degree in leadership. Her
corporate work experience and knowledge base includes human resources, program
    management and community development.

Florence SC schools facing violence threats early in school year; Trump vs GOP

    in Politics Conservative

The Florence County Sheriff's Office is aware of an apparent Facebook threat to public schools in the heart of Pee Dee Region of SC currently being circulated on the Internet. Although there is no solid evidence of the threat being real, Investigator Chad Collins of the Florence County Sheriff's Office will be joining us "In the Pickle Barrel" to discuss the threat. We will also be discussing school safety, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse and other Major Crime issues.

Perhaps we can convince Investigator Collins to put some handcuffs through Donald Trump's lips so he can resist saying tacky things about women and fellow candidates. Some say The Don may have crossed the line. Opponents are beginning to say enough is enough. It appears the the ignored candidates are ready to take the fight to Trump. Hey, at least they will get a little attention.

    in Self Help

First published in 1925, this book has inspired thousands of people around the world to find a sense of purpose and belonging. It asserts that life is not a battle but a game of giving and receiving, and that whatever we send out into the world will eventually be returned to us. This little book will help you discover how your mind and its imaging faculties play leading roles in the game of life.Florence Scovel Shinn established herself as one of the most down-to-earth, practical, and helpful prosperity writers of her era. With a timeless message and the ability to explain success principles and how they work in an entertaining style, her writings are still considered the leaders in prosperity literature today.

One secret of Shinn's success was that she was always herself . . . colloquial, informal, friendly, and humorous. She herself was very spiritual . . . and taught by familiar, practical, and everyday examples. --Emmet Fox By studying and practicing the principles laid down in this book, one may find prosperity, solve problems, have better health, achieve personal relations-in a word, win the game of life. --Norman Vincent Peale

A Just Cause - Corrupt Judge Poster Child for Sentencing Disparities

    in US Government

Lamont Banks, Cliff Stewart, and Lisa Stewart of the Colorado exoneration firm A Just Cause, discuss what happens when the wheels of justice trample unbridled over the rights of innocent Americans.

Although the American system of justice is the most-respected worldwide, it is still a system designed, and operated, by humans, which means it's not perfect. Lamont, Cliff and Lisa will highlight ongoing struggles against "the system" to free wrongfully imprisoned people, and what happens when justice miscarries against an actually innocent person.

A Just Cause is currently campaigning for "FreeTheIRP6," who's been wrongly imprisoned in Florence, CO, by a corrupt US District Court Judge Christine Arguello for a crime they didn't commit. Read full story: www.freetheirp6.org.
