The Night Before The Protest in Tulsa

    in Politics

It is the night before the Protest

    when all through the city

    People were praying

    for equality for all

    Equal justice for all

no matter the shade of humanity you are

It is the night before the Protest

    the air crackles with hope

some live in the pain of yesterday

others live in the hope that is tomorrow

    Be people of uniform

or those that have been black and blue

    Hearing:

The Majority should never decide for the Minority

    The people are

    you and I

    together

    as the voice of one

Meet me at the Sheriff's office

    7 pm on Friday

    Protest for Change

    Eric Harris was the reason

    see you tomorrow

Anti Police Brutality in Tulsa #GlanzGottaGo Update

    in Politics

It is the day before the group known as We The People Oklahoma will turn in the Grand Jury petition for a investigation into the reserve deputy program within the Tulsa Sheriff Department & Tulsa Sheriff Glanz. How is the group holding up ? What should they expect at this point ? This action was instigated by the murder of Eric Harris April 4th 2015 in a Tulsa city street. As Eric Harris lay in the street, his belly on the pavement he was shot in the back by a 73 yr old reserve deputy, a one Robert Bates. As Eric Harris was bleeding and dying in tulsa , he uttered the words "I can't catch my breath " . The deputy now resigned replied back in a cruel manner "F&%K Your Breath" . We will be playing that audio - I ask that if you are sensitive are under the age of 18 that you do not listen to this podcast as it contains sensitive material. We will be discussing what a community can do under stressful situations as Tulsa finds itself in 2015.  Truthfully this is nothing new. In 1921 there were men, boys and women dead in the streets of Tulsa. The Tulsa Race riot of 1921 . We have to do better - Let us talk of the resource of the Grand Jury petition/investigation. Organize and plan what you will do should your city find itself in a silimar situation. Have advice ?- we will be glad to hear it . 323 870 4626 is the number to call. No Justice No Peace.
