SHOW NOTES: This HELP! Situation™ series addresses challenges, obstacles and problems (real or perceived) that are preventing a person from surpassing their goals! What is holding you back from surpassing your goals? In this episode we examine the issue, "I Keep Getting Fired From Jobs! What Should I Do?”
Why are you fired?
Be honest. No excuses and/ or rationalizations. I have been fired (several decades ago when I was working minimum wage jobs in food service and retail). I was fired due to my soft skills (attitude). I was always asking questions and trying to "improve" things. My job was to carry out the established processes and procedures and not to try to reengineer and change those established paramete
I have worked for a company for 9 months and given 100%. I have risen to #2 in sales in the company in that time and today I was met with a bit if life changing news, "Your fired." My boss, this giant of a Texan staring at be in from Dallas no way that meeting was going to be congratualtory like it should have been BUT it was a firing. A series of events took place that in my mind after going back through the playbook can only scratch my head in wonder and ask why does a company fire a rising star and the #2 sales guy generating 17% of the companies annualized revenue? I see I was wrongfully terminated because a person's ego and attitude and pride got in the way of sound business. I could have handled it 2 ways, one argued my case and go on a rant at why he was wrong and get mad and huff and puff or handle it the way i did. That is what I am saving for the show tonight plus I really want to announce some good news that sprang forth from the firing and also encourage and of you who may be dealing with tough work environments or maybe you too got fired or are facing that reality. Join me for an hour of power in the love of the Lord and enjoy a break through show tonight!
Over the weekend I was honored to be invited to air All Fired Up Radio live at Radio Row at the Defending the American Dream and Right Online Summit. Today I'll cover some of the phenomenal lessons I learned at this event, put on by Americans for Prosperity. But too, let's get social, folks. We have to figure out who we are and what we stand for before we can even decide if we can unite, and with some clips from the shows there, we'll talk about that.
Therre are plenty of places to go to talk about Syria, plenty of places to talk about healthcare. We know they're both bad but hey... let's hear it from some pros (not me) what we really need to be focusing on. Join me today and let's learn what it is to really Be American! 646 478 3519

Tonight, we're talking all about struggles at the office....
“Anything or anyone that doesn’t bring you alive is too small for you.” David Whyte
It was around this time last year last I was called into my CEO’s office on a Monday morning and released from my position.
Getting fired is traumatic. Going home to tell your future husband that you just bought a home with that you no longer have a job, an identity or an income is sobering.
But here’s the truth….
My life had been talking to me for years, but I hadn’t been listening.
That job may have paid the bills, but it never fed my soul. It might have looked glamorous and impressive to others, but it actually made me smaller and dimmed my light.
What I couldn’t see then that is so crystal clear to me now is that on that bright, summer morning last year, I wasn’t only getting fired. I was being freed.
I was freed from the idea that in order to make a good living, I wasn’t permitted to make a good life.
I was freed from believing that I had to be miserable in my job for some period of time until I earned the right to be happy…someday.
I was freed from the belief that because this is all I had ever done that this was all I could ever do.
What happened on that Monday morning one year ago happened FOR me - not TO me.
That firing led me back to myself.
That firing led me to more meaning, more passion and more abundance in the last year than the last 20 years combined.
That firing led to my freedom.
