    "Fiery Trials"

    in Christianity

Greetings and Salutations beloved brethren! Today I will share with the listening audience a message that I received from the Lord pertaining to the "fiery trials" that we who are servants of our Lord Jesus will have to endure as we walk the narrow path of salvation. I want to encourage each and everyone of you my brethren to look up for your redemption draws near. Our Lord will be coming in the clouds, to redeem this fallen world from the enemy of our souls. Also, I will present a text of scripture from Romans 1:18-32 which talks about the sin that so easilly besets us. It is high time my brethren that we repent of our sin, and live lives that glorify our most holy Lord. God Bless!

Prepare your hearts my brethren for it is time that we who are of the household of faith rise up in the power and might of the Holy Ghost and preach the gospel to every creature, as our Lord has commissioned us to do!

  • Converting post-traumatic stress to post-traumatic growth with your warrior soul

    in Lifestyle

There is a well known fact among those who have managed to heal and liberate themselves from their trauma with great resiliency. A common thread is that they all converted post-traumatic stress into post-traumatic growth - the idea that one’s trauma can actually be a source of strength and resiliency, rather than just pain and suffering.

It also happens to be something that humanity has practiced for as long as it has existed.

It’s a life practice that is not very easy to digest at first in a society where we expect life to be pristine and perfect. But once acknowledged, it can provide measures of strength and resiliency that you never thought you had and (this is the hard part) might never have found had you not faced the trauma you faced. When you face the fiery gates of hell that your trauma has led you to, no doubt you burn with pain and suffering, but in that raging heat, the inner steel in you cures and toughens. It becomes far stronger than it ever would have been had you not gone through that experience. In today's podcast we explore the idea of post-traumatic growth...

We're back with yet another day in the life of the happiest guy...my name is Sri. I'm a healer, wannabe writer, failed activist turned stand up comedian, and aspiring mama elephant. And I can't stop talking...

Rev.Russell Moore's Bible Study: The fiery Darts of the WickedOne.

    in Religion

Ephesians 6:16 starts with these words, above all taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the  fiery darts of the Wicked one. This shield is very large and is used to protect the entire person from evry sort of sin and temptations. Fiery darts  are being shot at  the minds of christians  to set their world on fire with sin.  The believer must learn to use the shield of faith to be obedient to the Lord.

The Rules For Us Versus The Rules For Them

    in Pop Culture

In this episode we be discussing how the rules for a minority doing something and the media distorting it and then them (caucasians) doing something and the media shaping it for a specific narrative.  For example, in the world of professional football people have this perception that Tom Brady is a squeaky clean golden boy, but when he is "mic'd up" on the field and you hear him on talking trash and is labled a fiery competitor. In the same breath Richard Sherman is one of the best cornerbacks in the league and will call you out just to see if you can prove you are the best, but is seen and labled as an arrogant thug for calling people out.  The media is known for shaping the opinion of people based on how those individuals personalities are in accordance to their race. This topic can also be discussed in entertainment as far as different public figures are concerned as well.

The Wealth and Health Builders Ministry Hour

    in Christianity

We are preparing for Spiritual War for 2016. Join us next week when we discuss part 3 of the Whole Armor of God all 9 pieces.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”
    –Ephesians 6:10-18.

We Wrestle Not Against Flesh and Blood with Todd Tomasella and Frank Telford

    in Christianity

Growing up the primary sport that I was involved in was wrestling. Paul wrote that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood like I was used to, but against an invisible enemy.

As we grow and mature as Christians the attacks from the enemy become more diverse but it's the same plan. They want to cause us to fall. Paul wrote,

“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices."
    2 Cor 2:11

Now using the wrestling analogy, how does Satan attack us? That's an important question because it's definitely going to happen. Being prepared is half the battle. Remember we are not going to be ignorant, so what are we supposed to do?

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" 1 Peter 5:8

The key to overcoming is simply to recognize what's going on as soon as things start to get difficult. We are told to test every spirit to know if it is from God and when these things occur it will be obvious that it's a demonic spirit attacking us because you will not feel the peace of God. One thing that I've learned that the demons can't deal with is a grateful heart. Giving thanks in the midst of trials for all the good things you do have is an open door to receive your peace back. Have an attitude of thanksgiving and their fiery darts will bounce of your shield of faith with no effect. Also get used to taking those cares and seeking help from the One who cares for you. Running to God and not away from Him is the answer.

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phil 4
