    Who Is Worthy?

    in Christianity

2 Samuel 22:1-7, 21-25 and 47-51  David praises God for Deliverance, in the course of our lives we tend to wonder if we are worthy of our blessings.  David was a man after God's on heart, he fell short, but God blessed him anyway.  Who is worthy? You are worthy of the love of the Lord.

Jenny Marshall Williams- Domestic Abuse Survivor

    in Women

Tune in and support Ms.Jenny Williams. Jennie will share her story with us in hopes of, helping other women to get OUT of their situation. I read an interesting article from the Huffington written by-  Alanna Vagianos.  This is ALARMING

The number of American troops killed in Afghanistan and Iraq between 2001 and 2012 was 6,488. The number of American women who were murdered by current or ex male partners during that time was 11,766. That's nearly double the amount of casualties lost during war.

Women are much more likely to be victims of intimate partner violence with 85 percent of domestic abuse victims being women and 15 percent men. Too many women have been held captive by domestic violence -- whether through physical abuse, financial abuse, emotional abuse or a combination of all three.

I will continue to use my platform to give anyone a voice to speak out and to help others.

Healthy Grieving ~ The Dance Between Feeling The Pain and Releasing It

    in Health

Grief is a normal and natural response to loss. Though we often expect to grieve the death of a family member or friend, many other significant losses can also trigger grief. Examples include:

    The end of a relationship

A move to a new community

A much-anticipated opportunity or life goal is suddenly closed to us

    The death of a pet

Someone we love contracts a potentially life-threatening illness

Grieving such losses is important because it allows us to ‘free-up’ energy that is bound to the lost person, object, or experience—so that we might re-invest that energy elsewhere. Until we grieve effectively we are likely to find reinvesting difficult; a part of us remains tied to the past.

Grieving is not forgetting. Nor is it drowning in tears. Healthy grieving results in an ability to remember the importance of our loss—but with a newfound sense of peace, rather than searing pain. Join Dr. Darren as he guides us into the Heart of the Matter of the role our subconscious mind plays with Healthy Grieving. Infinite Love & Gratitude!

Author Kelly Johnson discusses FEELING GREAT on #ConversationsLIVE

    in Motivation

Host Cyrus Webb welcomes author Kelly Johnson to #ConversationsLIVE to discuss her journey as a writer and what it was like to be a part of the new book FEELING GREAT.

Readers can expect to discover through FEELING GREAT that feeling great is not about having a good time for a few hours, or having money to spend. It's about putting your life in order and remembering who you really are. It's about practicing the four keys revealed in this book—enthusiasm, optimism, contentment, and respect—then learning how to start acquiring and applying them.

Feeling Great on the Road to Fulfillment with CoAuthor Kelly Johnson

    in Self Help

Feeling great is not something that can be bottled and bought. It does not come from where we live, what we drive, or who we know. It's not about having a good time for a few hours, or about having money to spend. It's about putting our lives in order and remembering who we really are--an authentic way of living from the inside that will sustain us through life's challenges.

Our physical, emotional, and spiritual health have more influence over our ability to feel great than anything we experience on the outside. With so much going on in and around us, the quest to feel great for any length of time can feel pretty hopeless. But it isn't hopeless. It's actually quite possible, and easier than you think.

Today's special guest Kelly Johnson co-authored the book, Feeling Great: Creating a Life of Optimism, Enthusiasm, and Content. The book breaks down the elements that must be present in our lives to experience sustained peak living. It succinctly brings forth what needs to be cast aside, what needs to be adapted, and how to get from that place of emptiness to robustness as we build character traits that strengthen our contentment muscles.

Feeling Great is built on the timeless spiritual teachings of visionary Dadi Janki, revered leader of the worldwide Brahma Kumari Spiritual Movement. Along with co-author Peter Vegso, Kelly Johnson reveals practical applications to help us navigate and overcome the sticking points we all encounter in our hectic, overscheduled lives.

Today Kelly will tell us how we can all feel great, and will explain the three precepts that are pillars for doing so - Enthusiasm, Optimism and Contentment.
