You can feel it inside of you.
There is a message in you that is longing to come out. So why do you hold back?
We were born with a purpose and a passion, but often our own thoughts and fears get in the way of us releasing the message we have been given to the world. We say to ourselves that our lives aren’t that interesting. We have bought into a belief that we are less than others.
Have you ever said to yourself: “I am just a ___________”?
In truth who would you rather learn about how to be a good mom from, a doctor with no kids, or a mom of 3? Who would you rather learn about being a great business person from, a person who has seen hard times in business and come through them or a person with a degree?
No matter what you have been through in life there is a message that has been born out of that journey. The road you have already travelled is a road someone else is just getting ready to step out on.
What we often need is some help. Someone who can step in and help us get out of our own way and really let all of who we are shine!
Today I am joined with an amazing and impactful transformation coach Christine Kloser who works specifically with people to help them release their transformational book to the world. Christine has a proven system that takes people from wanting to be a writer to having a published transformational book. Christine can help you take that message inside of you past the blocks you have put up and out into the world. If you, like most people, know you have a purpose and are wanting to know how to write what is in your down, then today is your day. Right now is the time to stop wishing and find out how to get started.
Listen as Christine Kloser talks with Host Steve Kidd about releasing and birthing your transformational book into the world!
Sue Monk Kidd is an author to be revered. Her work has inspired generations past and her novels inspire other authors to strive for the perfection Kidd reaches in each of her stories.
Sue Monk Kidd was raised in the small town of Sylvester, Georgia, a place that deeply influenced the writing of her first novel The Secret Life of Bees.
When her first novel, The Secret Life of Bees, was published by Viking in 2002, it became a genuine literary phenomenon, spending more than 2½ years on the New York Times bestseller list. It has been translated into 36 languages and sold more than 6 million copies in the U.S. and 8 million copies worldwide. Bees was named the Book Sense Paperback Book of the Year in 2004, long-listed for the 2002 Orange Prize in England, and won numerous awards. For over a decade, the novel has been produced on stage by The American Place Theater, and in 2008 it was adapted into a movie by Fox Searchlight, which won the People’s Choice award for best movie and the NAACP Image award for best picture. It is taught widely in middle school, high school, and college classrooms.
Kidd’s second novel, The Mermaid Chair, has sold well over a million copies since its publication by Viking in 2005 and reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list.
The Invention of Wings, Kidd’s third novel was published January 7, 2014 by Viking to wide critical acclaim. It debuted on the New York Times bestseller list at #1 and remained on the hardcover fiction list for over six months. It has been translated into 20 languages, thus far. The novel was chosen for Oprah’s Book Club 2.0. Plans are underway to turn the book into a film.
She lives in Southwest Florida with her husband.
What should I do next?
Have you ever felt that in life?
Have you ever read a really good book and wanted to read the next one in the series?
Have you ever purchased something from the store and couldn’t wait until the next time you could get more of it?
On the flip side; have you ever gotten lost in a store trying to find something or gone to where you thought it should be and couldn’t find it?
Have you ever not done business with someone because you were too confused to make a decision?
When was the last time you bought something you didn’t intend to buy because you happened to see it on your way to or from what you came to get?
We have discussed on Thriving Entrepreneur many times before about not selling a customer but simply sharing what they need or are looking for with them. What we want to do is create a relationship with our clients. We need to develop a process to take the relationship with a potential client all the way to a GREAT repeat customer.
Normally we start with a free offer, but from there we need to already have a clear path for them to take next with us. Problems arise when no one in the relationship knows where things are going! This clearly defined process for building an ever increasingly strong relationship with our customers is called a sales funnel. A sales funnel is an intricate part of the success of your company.
To help us better understand this is Host Steve Kidd is joined by guest Kamala Chambers. Kamala is passionate about helping you THRIVE in your life and in your business. As a web designer and a relationship coach she is the perfect person to help you build a stronger relationship with your clients and live as a Thriving Entrepreneur

What do you see when you look in the mirror?
Do you see the amazing, vibrant, talented person you are?
Do you concentrate on the blemishes and your hair length, color, or style?
Not liking ourselves is such an easy trap to fall into and a VERY hard cycle to get out of. We are often taught that we need to smile and be gracious when someone compliments us, but very rarely taught how to take in what the person is saying and it embrace that message rather than the negative message that constantly is playing in our head.
Today I have some news for you – YOU ARE AMAZING! Now before you shrug that off let that land and take a minute to let that sink in. You see true humility it having a right perspective of yourself. And again I have news for you – you are EXACTLY and PERFECTLY who you were made to be. There is NO ONE in the world that can be you!
So why is this important to your business? Because in order for our business to grow and for our marketing to be effective we have to START from the place of accepting and celebrating who we are and then share it with the world.
This is why we are SO fortunate today to be joined by Claire Anstey. Claire is an expert in helping women entrepreneurs find and release their wonderful uniqueness into the world. She specializes in giving you permission to be you. So that you can THRIVE!
What do the people you want as clients think of you? Do they see you as a member of their group or as an annoying outsider that is always trying to sell them something? OR do they recognize your name but have no idea what you do?
When we think of approaching our potential clients, often we get it wrong from the start. We need to truly be a contributing member of our “tribe”. Our tribe is the group of people just like us that could be our potential clients. However people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
We all know the type of person we don’t want to be perceived as. That person who enters a room and immediately begins selling you something. The kind of person who corners you in a social situation to “pitch” you. You know you don’t want to be this person! You know you don’t want to be that person everyone avoids. LOL
Now ask yourself; how is my approach and presence on social media? What we want is to be the person everyone seeks out.
How do we do that?
To start with we need to approach our online presence with a spirit of giving. We need to be a contributing member of your tribe.
What you want is for all of the members of your tribe to be on your team. You want them to refer people to you when they have a need you can meet. How do we do that?
Social marketing and online marketing expert Don Crowther is going to share some insights with us on how to really be present and effective in your social media.
Learn how you can add benefit to your tribe and how you can create a presence that makes people want to be on your mailing list and interact with you.
Let Don and Steve show you how to make all of your tribe part of your team!

As an entrepreneur, what do we do when a crisis comes? When we have issues that come up in our lives the most common thing we want to do is to avoid it. We hope that maybe if we don’t deal with it then it will go away. The more empowering AND TERRIFYING approach is to take an issue that comes up in our life and face it. And then there is our willingness to accept help from others, even the people who love us. We don’t want to be a burden, we are afraid that if we ask for help. The truth is that our true empowerment comes when we bring all of us to everything we do. This is the most true when we learn to ask for help when we need it. There are people who want to help!
Steve Kidd is joined by two amazing ladies who help women during perhaps one of the most difficult and frightening things that can happen in life – being diagnosed with breast cancer. Their organization gives help and support not only to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer but also to their families and support system.
Meet Sharon Henefin and Becky Olsen from Breast Friends. Sharon and Becky are going to share with us today some ways to learn to ask for the help and not go it alone in our times of crisis. We will learn how even in the worst of situations there is a way we can THRIVE.
Do you avoid speaking with your tech people? How many times have you felt like your computer hated you? Do you ever find yourself screaming at the computer screen because a program won’t do what you want it to?
For the average person technology is complicated and something most people try to avoid as much as they can. When we try to get help often we are made to feel stupid. Worse is when the person you ask for help seems to literally be speaking a whole other language. But you do need to know and embrace the importance of technology in our business in the 21st century. You need to have the ability to be digitally fluent. To communicate, collaborate and connect using the tools that are now available to us.
Sadly for an entrepreneur the failure to embrace technologies, especially the things like social media and your online presence can be the death of your business. In order to not just survive but THRIVE in your business you need to speak geek. You need to be digitally fluent. In other words you need to know what you are doing online and more importantly… why!
Special guest Pam Ross is going to teach you today how to test and learn new technology so that you can grow your business online like never before.
Pam’s specialty is teaching women entrepreneurs how to be literate and effective in this computer driven digital age without having to go back to college and get another degree just to survive. Steve and Pam will also help you learn what you have to learn to be competitive in modern business. Discover today how easy it is to be digitally fluent and make the internet your friend.
