As an entrepreneur, what do we do when a crisis comes? When we have issues that come up in our lives the most common thing we want to do is to avoid it. We hope that maybe if we don’t deal with it then it will go away. The more empowering AND TERRIFYING approach is to take an issue that comes up in our life and face it. And then there is our willingness to accept help from others, even the people who love us. We don’t want to be a burden, we are afraid that if we ask for help. The truth is that our true empowerment comes when we bring all of us to everything we do. This is the most true when we learn to ask for help when we need it. There are people who want to help!
Steve Kidd is joined by two amazing ladies who help women during perhaps one of the most difficult and frightening things that can happen in life – being diagnosed with breast cancer. Their organization gives help and support not only to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer but also to their families and support system.
Meet Sharon Henefin and Becky Olsen from Breast Friends. Sharon and Becky are going to share with us today some ways to learn to ask for the help and not go it alone in our times of crisis. We will learn how even in the worst of situations there is a way we can THRIVE.

A fatal tecnical error occurred that corrupted the original episode. This show is being recorded LIVE on a Thursday with Mike Kidd of the Mike Kidd Sports Agency. Thanks for tuning in and please accept our apologies for the technical issue.
Mike Kidd launches the new Scramblecross series in Texas. Utilizing natural terrain courses with no double and triple jumps and minimal track prep, it is a bit old school and an idea whose time has come? We discuss the new series with Mike and discuss his career as a Grand National rider. The AMA Hall of Famer has 12 Grand National victories and won the 1981 Grand National Championship so he should have much to share.
As the first Director of Flat Track for DMG/AMA Pro Mike made many changes. All of them are still in place today. We will talk about his experience with AMA Pro and his ideas going forward.
Michelle Lindsay joins us to break news concerning the TOBC road racing team for 2015! We are pleased to have Michelle on and looking forward to hearing her news about the team!

Managing people can be a difficult task. Doing it gracefully can seem nearly impossible some days. Surprising though, even worse than the difficulty of managing people is the trap of doing it all ourselves.
We need to remember the importance of letting go. As an entrepreneur it is so easy to always see every task as being something we have to do. The truth though is much different. All distractions are equal and in your business the distraction of busyness can be the worst. We need to learn how to identify not only our strengths but also our weaknesses. Then as we have said many times, we need to STOP DOING WHAT YOU SUCK AT! Let your brilliance shine and allow others a place where their brilliance can shine as well.
We need to discover how to assign people where they will shine and then lead them with grace. It is our job as the owner of our company and the CEO of our business to create an environment of empowerment. By allowing our people to shine and creating a graceful place for accomplishment we receive a business that is not only successful, but is more importantly THRIVING!
Join host Steve Kidd and his special guest Michael James. Michael spent years as a general contractor, so he knows how to manage people and projects. Michael also went on an incredible journey of self-discovery that has changed his life. Michael shares with what he learned about himself and how that can help you and your business to:
Be open to asking for help
Giving Grace as we Manage people
Assigning tasks to the right people and empowering their success
