When and where did it all beging. Even in a field so concerned as fashion is with what is current, a backward look is essential in evaluating trends and anticipating those of the future.
It's important to know the roots of fashion so that we may explore why people put on clothes in the first place. There are three basic reasons why people wear clothers...DECORATION...PROTECTION and MODESTY!
NO FASHION IS NEW. Costumes evolved from previous costumes, every style has been seen, accepted and used before.

Excitment and suitability...etc.
Shapes and moods of fashion...etc.
Pre-historic through Roman Times...etc.
Lately I have noticed that there is a huge increase in the number of men wearing weaves and dresses. In everyday fashion is this acceptable now? Do women look down on men who wear heels, weaves, makeup, etc? Why is more acceptable for women to dress boyish than for men to do so? Is that a reason to question a man's sexuality?
