Drastic to Fantastic - your way to sexual fitness!

    in Women

How much education did you get about your sexual and personal health ladies?   I know it has not changed much since the late 1970's.  In 1988 I did  research into menstrual education - what was available was little different to the '70's.  When working as a specialist health visitor with young girls referred into Social Services because of underage sex or pregnancy in 2002-5 - girls could have blinked and missed what was on offer in terms of education about their personal health and wellbeing.
Yes, schools do dance on a knife edge between parents who have no wish for their children to be enlightened and those who wish for their children to have knowledge and understanding of what is important for their bodies.
So sadly women - go through life barely knowing the names of their sexual anatomy.  They have little knowledge about how their hormone cycle and physiology can affect their happiness, health and effectiveness or how to maintain and enhance their health and wellbeing.  Few women have taken a mirror and  looked at their vulvas. Many women go through life never having had an orgasm. Very few know that the muscle tone of their pelvic floor is vital to the health of their inner organs and their sexual experience, or that having an orgasm is not  just for the lucky or sexually obsessed, it also has a biological purpose in assisting conception.
In this episode - I am talking with Livia Nemeth - who shares my passion for women to live - full, healthy lives, of which fundamental to their health and pleasure is the fitness of their pelvic floor.
What ever your age listen in to this episode to hear a discussion - or even to join in the discussion  - which will throw light on how you can transform your pleasure and confidence as a woman.  Become alive!  Join us!

    #MOVIES – Review: Fantastic Four (2015)

    in Pop Culture

What has been heard cannot be unheard, what has been seen cannot be unseen.  That is exactly how I have felt since taking 100 minutes out of my time to watch the latest version of the Fantastic Four.  I would normally say words cannot explain the disappointment in the depiction of the “First Family” of the Marvel Universe and this is the reason there are so many fans screaming for their return to Disney/Marvel Productions.

As a fan of comic books it is not hard at all to pick this movie apart piece by piece when compared to the original versions that have been around since 1961.  They explored briefly the friendship between Reed and Ben, followed by the mutual attraction of Reed and Susan character development was extremely shallow and in no way held the attention of the audience.

The movie as a whole felt rushed and the ultimate threat that was to bring the Four together was short lived and didn’t seem like much of a threat at all once it was over.  The whole movie can be seen in the television trailer minus the fluff and dreary explanations of each individuals powers and poor motivation of Victor Von Doom in this mashup.

Looks like we will never get a Fantastic four Film worthy of the title held by the Fantastic Four for many years “The World’s Greatest Comic Magazine”

I give Fantastic Four 1.75 out of 5 stars and that is being generous.
