Join Alan Zlotorzynski and Stephen Shoup at 9:00 p.m., for the Friday Football Frenzy. Tonight, the guys will get you up to speed on all of the news from around the world of the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE. Alan & Steve will recap the NFL Network’s Top 100 list from last season and give you their top 5 players from the 2012 season. They will also tell which remaining free agents could still have an impact when they eventually sign with a team.
The guys will also weigh in on a recent NFL tradition of teams making the playoffs and not returning, as well as teams finishing last in their division one year only to win it the next season. Since 2002, which was the first season the NFL included eight divisions, at least one team that finished last in their division one year wound up winning their division a year later in every single season.
In addition--since 1998, anywhere from five to eight teams that made the playoffs one year did not make it the next. From 1996 until the 2012 playoffs, no fewer than five teams a season have failed to repeat. Last season, only four teams, the Saints, Lions, Giants & Steelers, failed to return to the playoffs.
Alan and Steve will tell you which teams they believe are candidates to carry on these recent winning—and losing traditions, during the 2013 season.
With the Buccaneer (July 14) and 49ers (July 17) set to kickoff training camp in less than 10 days, Alan and Steve continue their offseason previews. The dynamic duo has completed half the league and tonight, will breakdown the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys & Seattle Seahawks.
With fantasy football drafts around the corner, your resident draft experts will start breaking down each position. Tonight, they start with the wide receivers and tight ends.
