    Wow - what an exciting week we just had tat the 2015 CMC Live Seminar in Kansas City. Last year we shared that we at Let's Truck were going to be putting some focus to health...although we did not "know where the road would take us" we committed to this most important part of all of our lives.     Destination Health - #23 - We're staying on the No Grain Train and learning more

    I will admit that my comfort food of choice would be a warm loaf of crusty bread (yes the whole loaf) and some cold butter to slather (good word!), watch it melt into all the tiny, delectable holes and enjoy. I did use to do what they say is healthy and use 100% whole grain bread....or swap out my white rice for brown rice....and now what?! We are finding more and more research that the grains - especially what has been done to them through  mass-production may be the root of so many of our health issues. Hop on board the No Gran Train and join us as we delve into this issue a little more.

    Only one in three children are physically active every day. Less than 5% of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day. Only one in three adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week.Only 35 – 44% of adults 75 years or older are physically active, and 28-34% of adults ages 65-74 are physically active .More than 80% of adults do not meet the guidelines for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities, and more than 80% of adolescents do not do enough aerobic physical activity to meet the guidelines for youth.
