Robert Forman: Exploring Susan's Evangelical/New Age Journey
Dr. Robert Forman, inspirational author of Enlightenment Ain't What It's Cracked Up To Be and a popular regular guest, has made a special request: He would like to talk more deeply with host Susan Larison Danz about her journey, focusing on transformative moments that have changed her life, including her experiences with both evangelical Christian and New Age paths.
Robert's approach to spirituality is based on 39+ years of exploring spiritual enlightenment - from his beginnings as a Transcendental Meditation teacher training in the presence of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the guru of the Beatles, to his 20 years experience as a Professor of Comparative Religions. Robert has a PhD from Columbia University focused on Mystical Experience and professorships at City University of New York and Vassar College.
Robert's highly acclaimed memoir was praised as "definitely chicken soup for the spiritual seeker's soul!" by Jack Canfield.

From the Seneca Falls 2 Evangelical Women's Rights Convention, July, 24, 2010, Orlando, FL
Jocelyn Andersen challenges the listener to reconsider some of the old arguments traditionally used to keep men and women enslaved in illegitimate bondage based on sex.
Just as the Bible did not condone the sin of slavery based on skin color, it also does not condone a slavery-like caste system based on gender. Don’t commit mental suicide! A look at cults and toxic faith
Is it possible to have a healthy faith? Cynthia Kunsman says yes. It’s from Cindy that we’ve coined the title, “Don’t commit mental suicide!”
A survivor of many years of spiritual abuse at the hands of the remnants of an aberrant Evangelical Christian group, Cindy points out that Romans 6:14 states, “You are not under law, but under grace.” Characteristics of what makes a cult, how brainwashing is achieved, and what constitutes spiritual abuse are just some of the topics she addresses at Under Much Grace – a webite also dedicated to healing from spiritual abuse.
Cindy is a nurse (RN, BSN), naturopath (ND) and seminary graduate (MMin). Most of her professional efforts concern the study of manipulative and coercive evangelical Christian groups, the recovery process from thought reform, and PTSD associated with such involvement.
Robert Robinson is very popular with ex-Scientologists for his work in supporting those who leave Scientology. He has recently launched World Cult Watch. Rob was heavily involved with Scientology from 1988 to 1995, where he served in various executive positions. His site offers insight about various cults’ teachings, delivers hard hitting stories about problems involving abusive, authoritarian cults, and aims to provide comfort for ex-cult members struggling with guilt, grief, anger and other emotions associated with spiritual abuse.

I'd rather build a b**ch than a building ! ! !
I thought I'd recorded my last show earlier this Month. All that can be said about Black salvation has been said. Anything else that is said is done so for the sake of keeping some awake, or awakening those who are asleep or just entering adulthood ( which isn't always age oriented ). This assumption is only true, however, if one doesn't recycle information for celebrity oriented reasons. It is sad, but true that, like most politicians, most activists are not really sincere in wanting to see people live an abundant and blessed life. Big things are going down, and the people who live inside the " dummy tube ", for the most part, are not major players in these efforts. Those of us who are in the mix like things just the way they are. Let Rick Ross have the " b-words ", we want to build.
