    Mountain West quarterback race

    in Sports

The quarterback situation for the Mountain West schools is up in the air for nearly every school. So far during spring practices and only a few of the jobs have been settled with the most being decided in fall camp. Jeremy and Chris are back to discuss these quarterback battles and other spring musings.

Is it quite possible that New Mexico has the best quarterback situation, at least with returning talent and experience. Utah State has an argument for that as well but that only matters if Chuckie Keeton can stay healthy and that is not likely going off of his history. Maybe it is Air Force who has Nate Romine under center and while he didn't start last year, he did see time in nine games in 2013.

As of now Boise State, San Diego State, San Jose State, UNLV (but they are close), Hawaii, Wyoming, Colorado State and Fresno State have not officially announced who their starting quarterback will be.

Quarterback play will be a key issue in deciding the Mountain West next year, which is an obvious statement but this year it is important due to the amount of turnover.

The ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW - Evan Sayet

    in Politics Conservative

A friend describes tonight's guest this way:

"Leftists always believe and complain that when someone becomes wealthy, it is somehow wealth taken from the pockets of those who have less... as if we are in bloody existential competition for a fixed amount of resources, and the immorally aggressive get the spoils at the expense of the noble poor, ennobled by their lack.

"As if poverty is proof of moral superiority and wealth proof of the opposite. Wealthy people are to be deplored and decried, and if possible, to be plundered in the name of the poor, so that the Robin Hood ethic can be played out and everything can be equalized (it never was and never will be, but somehow it still calls to some).

"Evan Sayet reveals the simple truth. Other people making it big usually has some benefit for everyone else. If they weren't creating and offering benefit for others, then others wouldn't be rushing to give them MONEY!
So simple, but so hard to find a message that makes it easy to understand... in a world where too many messages are screaming the opposite."

Get Sober and Find Deeper Recovery with Carol the Coach

    in Self Help

Carol the Coach will be interviewoing Paul Hartman who will be speaking about his  double mission. First is helping the addict get sober, stay sober, and progressing to deeper recovery. That includes healing past and present trauma wounds, exploring family of origin issues, accessing emotions that may have been repressed or stuffed, reducing shame, claiming self esteem, and living life as a functional adult. His second mission focuses on the couple because he believe the original relationship wounded by sexual betrayal cannot be healed. Even when both partners want to preserve the relationship, the wounds are too deep and the old relationship must be allowed to die. The good news is that if the addict establishes consistent, relapse free sobriety and the partner chooses to believe that partner is a new person in recovery who is honest and trustworthy, they can create a brand new relationship together. With willingness, help, and hard work over time; the new relationship can be better than anything they have ever had together including going back to a time that predates the addiction.

This is an inspiring show that will help both the addict and the partner to trust in hope-strength-recovery!
