Today’s Discussion: Fatal Attractions That Divide and Conquer Unto Death. We need to be on high alert, for our adversary the Devil plan is to divide and separate families by any means necessary. The spirits of Deception, Infidelity, Pride, Unforgiveness and Lust are just a few of his demons whose mission is to overthrow God’s plan for mankind. Let us be wise and educate ourselves so that we are not deceived by the works of darkness, for we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loves us. The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, from 1-2 pm ET (10-11 am PT).
Last week we talked about why recruiting is a legitimate career choice, and this week we’re going to talk about how employers can help bridge the great debt divide.
It’s nearly official — the fact that Millennials make up the majority of the workforce. But with all the possibilities ahead for empowering a better workforce, the future is bleak because of the burden of student loan debt and rising healthcare costs.
They've reached crisis proportions and they're having a profound impact on the nation's workers and employers. It’s a critical issue today with not only younger generations being able to save for the future, but many Gen Xers and Baby Boomers also feel these financial pains and bear the brunt of lingering student debt.
Employers need to offer employees assistance with these issues is greater than ever, especially if they hope to recruit and retain key talent, reduce costly turnover and make up the ground they’re losing due to the impact of their student debt and the healthcare reform on their medical benefits.
Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-founders and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as they talk about how employers can help bridge the great debt divide with this week’s guest: Dan Macklin, co-founder and vice president of SoFi, the nation's second largest marketplace lender.
Thank you to all our TalentCulture sponsors, partners and supporters!

I've been really really mean to Robert Redwine, and maybe that KARMA is whats up on me, sick. I missed the show yesterday, I was sleeping deep. I thought I had slept the day away, that's how deep my sleep was, and I bet ol Redwine was somewhere laughing - hold it -
The reason I got sick was my wife was sick. Period end of story, had nothing to do with Redwine, so there. 347-205-9366 - I hope I'm well enough to do the show today, so I can get back into blasting Redwine, because he deserves it and you know it. I predict Jay will mute someone on the show 10 times. 347-205-9366 - Hey Johnny, Hey DLW - Hey Goober

Gillian Laub is a photographer/artist/filmmaker of the critically acclaimed HBO documentary, “Southern Rites”. Gillian Laub first visited Mt. Vernon, Georgia, in 2002 to photograph the community’s segregated homecoming celebrations. Seven years later, after multiple visits to the area, the New York Times Magazine ran a photo essay, “A Prom Divided,” that documented Georgia’s Montgomery County High School’s racially segregated prom. Not surprisingly, the series generated national outrage that lead to the integration of the proms.
As the film unraveled, there became more to the intended story of this small town in Georgia…
A 22 year old black man, Justin Patterson, was shot and killed by Norman Neesmith, a white man who was living nearby in Toombs County.
With continued tensions of racial divide, this tragedy changed the course of Gillian’s documentary.
On this episode, we’re going to sit down with Gillian Laub to discuss her amazing film, “Southern Rites” and what she sees as a future for this country when it comes to the Racial Divides that affect us nationwide, and not just in the south.

On today August 29, 2015 in Armstrong Park there is a commemoration ceremony that I participated in for those lost in Hurricane Katrina. It has been the most uplifting part of this day to see sisters pray together from every religion unified in the spirt of love. This is what Huey struggled so hard to make us see that the spirt of BLACK People must transcend the petty differences in every aspect of life. That racism was a wrong way to live if you were BLACK, that we should not mimic the ways of white people. To hate for the sake of difference only, and creat an environment of hate based on those differences. These are his words and they are in reference to the attitude of one who tried to hijack the Panther Party.
"When a man is consistent, you at least know what is happening and what to expect. Stokely says one thing one day and does another thing the next?.....Stokely told me he would support anyone he did not care who if the person were black. We consider this viewpoint both racist and suicidal." We must learn self love and self respect for ourselves and project that attitude, not an attitude of RIGHT IS MIGHT. These are learned behaviors former slave holders gave us and we need to unlearn this. The idea that every Black Man is a thug or a criminal came from this projected idea and caused the death of many during Katrina who were shot by police and National guard troops. No other race of men has been labeled in such a way as to make the eyes of the world see us as bad people who do not deserve to live. And that is what happened to our people here in New Orleans. They sent 10 thousand body bags because the Government felt it would be easier to let people here die than to save them. It would be easier to seize their land and creat a New Orleans that did not include BLACK ETHNIC communities and rebuild as a White Utopia.
