We will discuss the impact of our own underlying belief sytem, and how to recognize and understand the underlying beliefs of our participants.
As usual, we will also discuss two delicious recipes for sharing. The "safe" recipe will be Chicken and Cheese Pasta and the "adventure" recipe will be Seafood Stew.
Tonight live on Feb 20th, let's discuss old beliefs vs new beliefs or listen in when you can. Many of the beliefs that we believe and or live by no longer serve us in this lifetime. Each of us should ask ourselves, what beliefs serve us now?
Not all beliefs serve all of us. Our ancestors beliefs were good for them at the time that they lived. It is now time to let go and move forward embracing beliefs that serve us now in the present. Also, know and understand that your beliefs may or may not be good for me.
You are invited to call in and talk about your beliefs. We learn from each other and this is a belief that grows and changed each moment. No judgement, but understanding in a life where there are many cultures and ideas.

Defining limited beliefs is the first step to breaking free of them. On today's show, you will learn tools for moving into a new way to live your life
Guest Jeanette Gordon discovered her intuitive abilities during her teenage years. As a competitive gymnast, she began to experience altered states of consciousness during competitions. Her desire to understand her experiences began a lifelong exploration of the metaphysical. In 1998, she published her first book, “We Are All Yahweh." In 2010, she enrolled in and became an “Agent of Conscious Evolution." Through this work, she co-facilitated a year-long study group, “52 Codes”, in preparation for the December 21, 2012 shift in consciousness. In 2013, Jeanette published her latest book, “A Message for Mankind."
Jeanette’s website is A Message for Mankind.

Besides researchers, must the rest of us speak the same Sexuality and Gender Language in order to communicate effectively?
Call and tell us whether similarity in word use and definition bridges differences when people discuss sexuality, desire, identity and attraction. Does it result in forced choice or does it enhance communication?

Leadership is a privilege and a responsibility that demands a good deal from those who practice it, whether formally or informally. High on that list of demands is the need to be ethical, both in personal life and in leadership. Because leaders are role models whether they choose to be or not, they set the tone for the ethical stance of their individual followers, of the organization or group they lead, and, to some extent, of the larger community.
Ethical behavior, in its simplest terms, is knowing and doing what is right.
WHAT IS ETHICAL LEADERSHIP?
WHY PRACTICE ETHICAL LEADERSHIP?
WHEN AND BY WHOM SHOULD ETHICAL LEADERSHIP BE PRACTICED?
HOW DO YOU PRACTICE ETHICAL LEADERSHIP?
WHAT ARE SOME SPECIFIC COMPONENTS OF ETHICAL LEADERSHIP?
NEVER STOP REEXAMINING YOUR ETHICS AND YOUR LEADERSHIP.

Are you stuck living in yesterday's successes and unable to advance into your future? If so, you may be the victim of Scotomas, or limiting beliefs. Scotomas are things we believe that are untrue, and we make important decisions based upon those untrue beliefs. The actions we take will always align with what we REALLY believe as opposed to what we say. That is exactly why there are situations and occassions where we say one thing and do another. Scotomas are powerful hidden beliefs that actually control our actions. Anything that controls our actions will ultimately control our destiny.
“Beliefs divide us, values unite us. Fight violence with values.”
Godless – Living a Valuable Life beyond Beliefs is Jeff Rasley’s 8th book and it is
- A value-based counter-attack against religious fanaticism and political gridlock.
- A critique of fundamentalism and ideological politics and a remedy for what ails the Church and the political order.
- A middle way between orthodoxy and atheism to save religion in the advancing age of unbelief and a pragmatic approach to encourage political activism to counter apathy.
It shows how religious and political extremism can be defeated with pragmatism and positive values.

We aren’t the independent thinkers we like to believe ourselves to be.
Psychologist and researcher Dr. Adam Alter shows in his fascinating book, Drunk Tank Pink, that a host of forces -- internal, social, and environmental -- drive our thinking and beliefs, and in turn, our actions.
On tonight’s show, he’ll lay out the ways we are influenced, sometimes causing substantial changes in our behavior that make the difference between success and failure in our endeavors. Knowing these influences is the best way to avoid being swept away by them, so don’t miss this show.
Join me and all my fascinating guests every Sunday, 7-8 p.m. Pacific Time, 10-11 p.m. Eastern Time, at blogtalkradio.com/amyalkon or subscribe on iTunes or Stitcher.
