"Jesus Not Easter"! Host Dr. Ernest Maddox

What is the Easter celebration about and what is the connection to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ?

Eze 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east. Eze 8:17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here

Some Research - Based on Pagan name: The English word, "Easter" and the German word "Ostern" are derived from the name of an ancient Pagan Goddess Eostre. Alternate, less common, names for the holy day in English-speaking contries are the "Sunday of the Resurrection," Based on "Pesach:"  In most of the remaining languages in countries with a Christian heritage, the name for Easter is derived from "Pesach" ( in Hebrew) the name for Passover: Source http://www.religioustolerance.org/easter7.htm)

The Genesis of a Parallel (Fake Grace) Religion Host Dr. Ernest Maddox

The Genesis of a Parallel (Fake Grace) Religion  Host Dr. Ernest Maddox

Presented at Covenant Christian Center International-Dr. C.S. Ooterveen, Senior Pastor.

Grace is not a New Testament Concept.

Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.  Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Grace was given so one could Sin.

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?  Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.  Gen 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?  Gen 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

"The Days of Noah" and "The Red Dragon" Part 4 Host Dr. Ernest Maddox

Rom 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.  Rom 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

"The Days of Noah"  and "The Red Dragon" Part 2 Host Dr. Ernest Maddox

Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, (Num 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.) when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.  Gen 6:5  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Gen 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Gen 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Mat 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, [fn] but My Father only.  Mat 24:37 “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  Mat 24:38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,  Mat 24:39 “and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 1Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Rev 12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.

Sin, Who’s Fault Is It? Part 3 of 3 Host Dr. Ernest Maddox

Sin, Who’s Fault Is It?   Part 3 of 3 Host Dr. Ernest Maddox

    Titus 2

Tit 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Tit 2:8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.   Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  Tit 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

    2 Peter 1

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.  2Pe 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;  2Pe1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;  2Pe 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  2Pe 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
