    Who We Got Wednesday- "Do Black Lives Matter In Media"

    This week on Nick And Erik In the Monin, Nick and Erik will be addressing the question "Do Black Lives Matter In Media", but not alone. Nick and Erik will be joined by Race and Religion Activist Dr. Jon Pahl. Dr. Pahl earned his Ph.D. at The University of Chicago Divinity School, and since then has lectured or spoken at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, Princeton, Yale, Stanford and many other academic venues.  He’s been featured in a documentary film, Malls R Us, and has appeared on media outlets such as the BBC and ABC. He's the author, most recently, of the book Empire of Sacrifice:  The Religious Origins of American Violence--which includes a chapter on "The Slaveholding Religion--From Jarena Lee to Spike Lee."  Jon has written widely on topics of race and religion in America, and and he has been an activist on behalf of racial justice since his youth.  In his free time, Jon plays the sax with his jazz quartet and sits in with gospel choirs.  He's been married to his wife, Lisa, for 33 years--and they've been blessed to raise three beautiful children together.

    Nick and Erik are back for another Who We Got Wednesday (WWGW)! This week, Nick and Erik will be joined by adjunct professor of Villanova, Luke Pigott. Luke is a young scholar who is currently teaching courses in a maximum security prison to inmates on theology. Luke has published writings on various different topics, but the sacrifice happened when the educators of the incarcerated participation dropped so low , it was no way Luke would have missed this oppurtunity to follow his passion. Luke has always had a passion to educate those who have made mistakes.
