Tom Stalcup, Producer of the Epix Documentary "TWA Flight 800" and Hannk Hughes Lead NTSB Investigator for the TWA Flight 800 crash, will be my guest tonight.
TWA Flight 800 exploded in midair and crashed into the sea off the coast of Long Island, July 17, 1996 killing all of the crew and passengers. It was one of the deadliest airline crashes in American history. The official cause of the crash was listed as a "fuel tank vapor explosion", though no evidence was ever found to validate that determination.
This documentary is not a "conspiracy theory" film. It is a factual telling of the most documented government cover up that has ever been recorded. The folks testifying that they were coerced, lied to, kept from doing their jobs, forbidden to write reports or examine evidence and witnesses to the cover up are not crazy tin hats, they are the actual Federal NTSB investigators, FBI labratory supervisors, military pilots, and hundreds of honest American citizens who were actual eyewitnesses who have come out sixteen years later to recount their experiences on the day of the crash, and during the year long in investigation.
am sure this was not the first time Americans were ever lied to by the government, and will most certainly never be the last, but it might have been the first time the government realised they could get away with so much by controlling and manipulating the media and their own investigators, and it is most certainly the most detailed recording and witnessed cover up in our history.
I have never been a "conspiracy theorist" and am not one now. But this is not a conspiracy theory, it is simply a documentation of how evidence was destroyed, mishandled, witnesses were coerced and intimidated, ignored, and the American public was lied to.
I think you need to see the documentaty and listen to this interview

Jim Neighbors was not satisfied with the way mainstream media was covering stories and wanted a way to get information directly out to Americans, right in front of their faces in a way that would make it hard for them to ignore. As plainly written as possible. But how to do that?
Well, it seems that millions of people drive under overpasses on their way to and from anywhere and everywhere each and every day. If you were to stand on an overpass and hold up a sign, chances are the folks driving underneath it would look up and read what you had written on that sign. And guess what? They do!
Starting back in June of 2013 Jim started asking folks in each of the states to begin holding up signs on their local overpasses with messages like "Impeach Obama" on them and other signs with Benghazi, and any of the events mainstream media was not covering. Attempting to get folkjs to read the signs on the way home and then look up the information when they got home and read about it.
The idea has caught on very well with folks in almost all the states starting their own chapters of the org and holding signs on overpasses.
This is actually an easy way for folks to get out and get involved, to do something to help enlighten their fellow Americans.

We find out in this episode if Steve and Jeff followed through with their homework. Did Steve watch a classic movie on TCM? And did Jeff watch any Netflix original series? You've heard of Hulu Plus, Netflix and Red Box Instant. But what about Epix, Vudu and Crackle? How about Viki? Steve brings up all the streaming all options out there in the world and if they let him down or not.
Jeff writes a review on every Netflix Original Series and Steve has to guess which review goes to which show. Sound Guy Sammy has a question on watching the behind the scenes specials on DVD's. And a very valid point on when you shouldn't.
In Speed Round Steve finds out he is a bigger Star Trek fan than he thought. And Jeff wants to be in a foreign country with Tom Cruise. In Film History Jeff talks about non-western movies filmed in Arizona. You might be surprised at some of the famous films. Also find out which one is Jeff and Steve's favorite. And now that their documentary was secured by Lionsgate and is available on Epix (http://www.epixhd.com/journey-to-planet-x/), he and his Ginnungagap FilmWerks alumni set their sites on a new project ... a time traveling adventure called "Temple of Joy," currently in the works and seeking funding (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/687737279/the-temple-of-joy).
On today's show, Rachel Galvin will get an update as to their projects and some of the alumni will come online to share their experiences with the film as well as some of their own projects.
The success of these projects is a testament to what can be possible when a filmmaker is really determined and never says no for an answer.
