Soon after, she released a book called Everything and Nothing.. Finding a different muse, she began taking spoken word more seriously. Encouraged by artists and friends, Epiphany began her BlogTalkRadio show Epiphany’s House on Sunday afternoons. On the second Friday of each month, Epiphany hosts Sessions Live West Coast-a spoken word event at Dorsey’s Locker. To date this venue has seen the likes of the incredible spoken word duo Tribal Raine and Max Parthas, the Chairman of the Board, and Lyrical Toye, just to name a few.Slowly honing her craft in open mic houses and internet radio, Epiphany, has created a huge and diverse following within the spoken word community. In her own words, Epiphany Castro likes to call herself an artist because she does one or more things. She is a writer, a spoken word artist, and a singer. She is very delicate very fragile, very honest, and very feminine. Her poetic style is 99 percent romantic and love. Her CD, Soul Flower, gives a little piece of who she is in every track. Be there Saturday at 8 pm EST as we sit down with Epiphany, and learn more about this multi-faceted lady. Tell a friend to tell a Saturday night!
