Madison Star Moon VS. The EPA
This mornings broadcast will be me calling the EPA. I have 2 cases filed with them and I need to find out why the EPA has not returned any of my calls or followed up with my case in any way. This has been an ongoing battle with me as far as my dealings with federal agencies and trying to get any assistance with my formal complaints of chemtrail pollution.

The Neonicotinoid View: Peter Jenkins Discusses EPA Lawsuit
On March 21, 2013, a law suit was filed in Federal District Court against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), for its failure to protect pollinators from dangerous pesticides. The coalition, represented by attorneys for the Center for Food Safety (CFS), seeks suspension of the registrations of insecticides that have repeatedly been identified as highly toxic to honey bees, clear causes of major bee kills and significant contributors to the devastating ongoing mortality of bees known as colony collapse disorder (CCD). The suit challenges EPA’s ongoing handling of the pesticides as well as the agency’s practice of “conditional registration” and labeling deficiencies.
In this special series called “The Neonicotinoid View”, hosts June Stoyer and special guest co-host, Tom Theobald, talk to environmental lawyer, Peter T. Jenkins who will explain why the law suit was filed. Stay tuned!
Bio: Peter T. Jenkins is an independent attorney consulting for the Center for Food Safety (CFS) on pesticide impacts. For the last year he has worked for CFS on reversing the regulatory failures that have contributed to the current environmental impacts caused by neonicotinoids. Peter has more than 25 years of experience as an advocate, litigator, policy analyst and consultant in a broad range of environmental and consumer law. He has worked for several major non-profit groups in Washington, DC, and formerly worked for the U.S. Congress, Office of Technology Assessment, Food and Renewable Resources Program. He is a Member of the DC Bar Association. In addition to a JD from the University of Puget Sound Law School, he has a Masters in Environmental Studies from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.

The Neonicotinoid View: A Retired EPA Employee Speaks Out
In the United States, the agency whose mission is to protect human health and the environment is called the Environmental Protection Agency or EPA. EPA's purpose is to ensure that:
all Americans are protected from significant risks to human health and the environment where they live, learn and work; national efforts to reduce environmental risk are based on the best available scientific information; federal laws protecting human health and the environment are enforced fairly and effectively; environmental protection is an integral consideration in U.S. policies concerning natural resources, human health, economic growth, energy, transportation, agriculture, industry, and international trade, and these factors are similarly considered in establishing environmental policy; all parts of society -- communities, individuals, businesses, and state, local and tribal governments -- have access to accurate information sufficient to effectively participate in managing human health and environmental risks; environmental protection contributes to making our communities and ecosystems diverse, sustainable and economically productive; and the United States plays a leadership role in working with other nations to protect the global environment. As we continue our special series called “The Neonicotinoid View”, hosts June Stoyer and Tom Theobald will be joined by former EPA enforcement inspector, Dan Bench to discuss his experience with the EPA and his 35 years as a beekeeper.

EPA Challenges Property Rights
We will spend some time in todays show talking about the case of Sackett vs EPA. This is a shocking (and all too common) case of the EPA being able to intimidate property owners at their whim. If you really never gave much thought to why so many people bring up the idea that the EPA should be closed down, this story will make it clear.
