Current data from the Centers for Disease Control reveal a 41 percent increase in rates of ADHD diagnoses over the past decade and a forty-fold spike in bipolar disorder diagnoses. Similarly, diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder, once considered, has increased by 78 percent since 2002.Dr. Enrico Gnaulati, a clinical psychologist specializing in childhood and adolescent therapy and assessment, has witnessed firsthand the push to diagnose these disorders in youngsters.

Born in Sicily, Italy in 1956, Enrico moved with his family to New York in 1962. After attending school in Queens, he moved to Manhattan in 1977 and worked in the restaurant business as a waiter, bartender and manager. He opened his first restaurant in 1982 and quickly started opening a slew of restaurants in the years following; from 1982 until 2012, with the help of his brother Bob, he opened roughly 40 establishments in Manhattan. We talk to Steve Voss, Political Science Professor, University of Kentucky Pulitzer Prize Winning New York Times Supreme Court Correspondent Anthony Lewis Dies at 85 Anthony Lewis was already a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist when he became the Supreme Court correspondent for the New York Times. Since then he largely changed the way the high court is covered, wrote best-selling books about key decisions and earned yet another Pulitzer Prize. Lewis is credited with breathing life into Court coverage by getting into the law behind it. Lewis eventually left the post and moved to London for a while but came back for a Times column in which he continued to write about the law among other things. During all of this, Lewis became known – as Nicholas Lehmenn, Columbia’s Journalism School Dean put it – one of the defining liberal voices.
