This Friday at 7pm est; My Rays of Light Radio, with its hosts LM Young and The Essence of Inanna (Leslie Wright), will be celebrating the beautifully intriguing women of Nine Tribe and our book "Speak No Evil".
Nine Tribe is a collaborative effort to shine light on Domestic Violence.
What started out as an optimistic hope for what could be...
Has turned into an overwhelming surge of energy.
This all started as a tribute to a very special woman from our tribe...
What could she do to make her stand out?
She took a stand against abuse. ..specifically child abuse ; and it cost her greatly. ..yet to date...she still wages against this war.
What most people don't realize is that personally, she has also been fighting a war against illness. She makes it all look so effortless. It is an honor to know her...and a true privilege to love her.
Who wouldn't be inspired by this?
So what followed was nothing short of miraculous.
While we were hoping for at least 9 women, who would be willing to not only write about abuse, but support one another. ..in a most unique way.
While we hoped for Nine heroines...
We were gifted with
And Nine Tribe was born...
Not only have we created a great book, which will hopefully give people in violent situations hope...
But we came together As Women...
From different backgrounds, locations and experiences. ..
All for the purpose of being the Light at the end of one another's tunnel.
And as if all of that wasn't great enough-
It has inspired our first ever...online book writing club- where new authors become active by blogging and entrepreneurs by creating and marketing their own books.
We hope you will join us

These aren’t your standard popups: set these nudges to appear with exact triggers to particular audiences. Want new visitors to see a newsletter lightbox? Greet a campaign audience with a unique banner? Give a special offer to a buyer stalling in your shopping cart? Set it up and test easily with Engage, no IT or design resources required.
This is an incredible glimpse into the future of marketing platforms that don't simply report on performance - but actually utilize machine learning, testing and big data, to optimize the performance without guessing.

Your resume is not a historical document - it is a compelling 2-page summary of the features and benefits that you bring to an organization. Sound like a company or product marketing brochure? That is exactly how to view your resume - it builds a case and presents information that makes readers want to know more and bring you in for an interview!
Tune in and hear about the most important piece of this document - the summary paragraph - front and center right at the top - describing the power of YOU and why you're the next person they need to interview!
What do the people you want as clients think of you? Do they see you as a member of their group or as an annoying outsider that is always trying to sell them something? OR do they recognize your name but have no idea what you do?
When we think of approaching our potential clients, often we get it wrong from the start. We need to truly be a contributing member of our “tribe”. Our tribe is the group of people just like us that could be our potential clients. However people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
We all know the type of person we don’t want to be perceived as. That person who enters a room and immediately begins selling you something. The kind of person who corners you in a social situation to “pitch” you. You know you don’t want to be this person! You know you don’t want to be that person everyone avoids. LOL
Now ask yourself; how is my approach and presence on social media? What we want is to be the person everyone seeks out.
How do we do that?
To start with we need to approach our online presence with a spirit of giving. We need to be a contributing member of your tribe.
What you want is for all of the members of your tribe to be on your team. You want them to refer people to you when they have a need you can meet. How do we do that?
Social marketing and online marketing expert Don Crowther is going to share some insights with us on how to really be present and effective in your social media.
Learn how you can add benefit to your tribe and how you can create a presence that makes people want to be on your mailing list and interact with you.
Let Don and Steve show you how to make all of your tribe part of your team!
