There are times trials and tests come our way unexpectedly. If you have ever prayed to "endure to the end" and to be "made worthy for the Lamb of God, Y'shua/Jesus, don't be surprised at how the Lord just may answer that prayer. Yet, always remember that He promised that He would never leave nor forsake us.
Tune in tonight as we chat with Executive Director of The National Black Marathoner's Association, Anthony Reed. Anthony Reed took a simply love for the sport and turned it into a business that he awakes to daily and enjoy engaging in. Anthony Reed will discuss the impact of how running has changed his life in more ways than one; how he has achieved milestones in life such as completing over 100 marathons including running on all 7 continents; how the movement of recognizing and providing a historical perspective of African Americans in endurance sports can and will have on past, present and future generations.

Some time in your life you've heard these words....."No matter what don't ever give up". And yet at times don't we find ourselves at the brink, just toying with that possiblity that maybe I should quit. But perhaps the more important question is what or who are we quiting on? What causes us to want to throw in the towel? What causes us to simply walk away and give up and quite on our jobs, marriages , kids, and ulitimately find ourselves in a deep dark place wanting to give up on God, cause its just too hard to live the Christian life. Well, thanks be to almighty God for his great faithfulness, love and devotion that he never gives up on us, no matter where you've been in life, how tough it is to battle your circumstances, temptations trials and tribulations. And there's really a lot more at stake when we don't finish our race, theres a legacy at stake, others see our testimony of faith or lack of it. So we always need the helping hand of the Savior to pick us up, wipe the dust off and continue running the race we were called to run with endurance.
Romans 15: 5
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unityamong yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus,
Run the Christian Race with Endurance
The only way we can abide in His presence is by means of His cleansing blood.
Helen Lemmel's hymn says it so beautifully:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full into His wonderful face;
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.
When you are running the race of life you don't have time to look around. You have to keep your eyes focused on Jesus.Jesus Christ is the "author and perfecter of our faith." No one or anything else will do. He is the Beginning and the End. "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6).
When you keep your eyes on yourself you will become spiritually weary and discouraged.

We’ve invited Dr. Allen Lim and Jason Donald to share insights on how, what and when to hydrate, the importance of electrolyte and energy replacement and feeding strategies while training and racing. Jason was an elite professional cyclist who spent a few years as a member of the Garmin professional cycling team and Dr Lim also served as team physiologist for Garmin before founding SKRATCH LABS an innovative company that produces whole food performance electrolyte replacement and energy products for endurance athletes. Feeding, hydrating and electrolyte replacement is a critical aspect of performance and these two guys made their bones in international cycling competition where to survive, you have to get it right. No matter what level of competition, be it professional, recreational marathon running, obstacle racing, triathlon or cycling. This is a great episode to pay close attention to.

The Storm will come and it will come when you least expect it and hit you harder than you could ever imagine! What kind of support CIRCLE do you have OR are you the Leader of the Pack? If so where are you leading those who trust you with their life!
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock. [1Pet 5:2, 3]
The plain truth is that if we profess to be children of obedience, of God (Yhvh our Creator) through Jesus Christ, then we become examples to a lost and dying world. Understanding and knowing that in itself causes us to walk in true humility, knowing we are accountable to God (first) and all who see us (second).
If truth is whitewashed, it is no longer transparent. It then becomes glossed over, sugarcoated, camoflauged, suppressed - take your pick. We serve a God of truth. Yet, even His people can either speak by the spirit of truth or a spirit of error; there is no in-between (unless of course one is lukewarm, in which case the Lord will spew us out of His mouth - see Revelation 3:16).
Because Jesus is the truth, way and life, all that He spoke was truth, even hard truths. For this reason, He was hated, persecutated and eventually killed (crucified). If we are molded in His image, then we must follow His lead, and expect the same backlash that He got.
We are examples, no matter what we go through, just as those who went ahead of us. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. [1Cor 10:11]
