On Tuesday June 11, 2014 The Freed Bakery organized a Fundraiser where all of the proceeds went to the families of the Police Officers that were killed at Ci'Ci's Restaraunt. This senseless killing brought an entire community out as Max the head of Freed's Bakery announced that the Fundraiser would be from 5AM to 9PM that night. Breaking News Journal was there and the lines went around the corner. They were well organized and the police officers that were there were so apprciative that the community showed that they care for our offcers in blue and tan.
Owner Mx Fried will be on Breaking News Journal On Air Radio to talk about how this good deed was started, how the family got started and what has been the results.

Yvette has operated in her prophetic gifting since a very young age, not quite sure of what she was experiencing, she fumbled her way through always just "knowing" things. In 2000 she met a woman by the name of Laura Lee, who soon became her first spiritual teacher and taught her to ALWAYS do things in the name of Jesus Christ and to ALWAYS do them in love. It wasn't until 2009 that she came to know the full meaning of that lesson. In 2008, sitting home alone she heard a voice giving her instructions, freaked out she looked around half expecting to find an intruder because the voice was so loud and audible, this is when her gift came on so strong she could no longer run from it or deny it. It was this experience that made her seek out various groups and teachings to better understand the gift. Forgetting the first rule of what she was taught, she was exposed to some of the dark that comes from tapping into the wrong source, and in January of 2009 she gave her life to Christ and asked for her gift to be solely led by God, The Holy Spirit and Angels of God. Since 2009 Yvette has since become an ordained minister, performing wedding officiant services and walks in the Office of a Prophet at Powerful Life Church. When not working on her prophetic ministry, you kind find her hard at work in her bakery, creating divinely delicious treats. To connect with her: https://www.facebook.com/LovesGiftByYvetteMarie
Sunday Evening Evangelistic Message #171
TEXT: Matthew 10:17-20
We are moving on in our series of messages on what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. Over the past few weeks, we have explored Jesus' metaphors saying that Christians are like sheep in the midst of wolves, and should be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Now, we are getting into the practical instructions that Jesus gave to his disciples as He is sending them out on a missionary journey. Lord, willing, we are going to go through all of the rest of Matthew chapter 10 as we seek to understand how we should carry ourselves when we face conflict as Christians.
This past week, the ruling came down in the case of a Christian baker who refused to bake a cake for a homosexual couple. The Civil Rights Commission of Colorado ruled that Jack Phillips of Masterpiece Bakery had to supply wedding cakes to homosexual couples and that he and his employees had to undergo some kind of "anti-discrimination training" as well as report to the government how many people they refused to serve each quarter. This dear Christian brother has decided that he would rather not bake any wedding cakes if the government is going to try to force him to do something against his convictions such as even remotely participate in a homosexual wedding.
There are several more cases similar to this one pending across the country. And such instances of conflict between Christians who desire to live by Biblical principles and the world which opposes the principles of God will only increase as time goes on and as we draw near to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. To use Dr. King's phrase, in light of "the fierce urgency of now" -- in light of the fact that this passage has intense and immediate application, let us turn to Scripture and continue to see how we should face conflict as Christians from Matthew 10...

Join Ed and Deb Shapiro along with leading light in contemplative education, Charles Lief for a conversation on creating more meaningful lives.
How do we live a more purposeful and spiritually fulfilling life? How do we put into action all those wonderful ideas and selfless dreams we have? Charles Lief has led an inspiring life doing just that. In 1970, when he was just 19, he became a student of Buddhist teacher Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and remained closely connected to Rinpoche's work to establish Buddhism in the west. For decades he worked toward sustainable social and economic transformation with the homeless: he was the first president of the Greyston Foundation in Yonkers, NY, dedicated to ending poverty and one of the best-known models of integrated nonprofit social enterprises. Founded by Roshi Bernie Glassman, Greyston's combination of services includes housing for homeless families, childcare centers, HIV/AIDS housing and health care, and the well-known Greyston Bakery, which provides employment to low income people and, among other products, supplies millions of pounds of brownies to Ben and Jerry's. As a principal in the Hartland Group of Burlington, Vermont, he created mixed-income housing and economic development projects in Vermont and New Hampshire. Now he is the president of Naropa University, a leading light in contemplative education, enabling its students to create meaningful spiritual lives. http://www.naropa.edu/presidents-office/
