Finding Your "Authentic Beauty & Strength." With Ashley Drummonds
For a long time I was pursuing what everybody wants, and that is to have "abs".
I did the whole egg whites, broccoli, chicken, bland foods to prepare for photo and video and shoots, I would lose weight, but I was miserable and hated eating!
Every single time I would have to prepare for a photo shoot, I knew I would have to return to 5 egg whites,1/2 cup oats, broccoli, chicken, etc.
I love doing my photo shoots, but hated the meal prep involved in getting the look and body composition I wanted.
So I would find myself having to count the days until my next "cheat meal".
After A LOT of testings, I finally created the first Vanilla Cake Batter Pancake and was hooked!
I ate these every morning instead of the traditional "diet foods" I normally would eat to prepare for my photo shoots. I ending up not only feeling better, but looking leaner and stronger for this shoot then the one prior!
I decided to turn ABS pancakes into a product in order to help other men and women find an easier way to stick to a nutrition plan without feeling deprived, or like they're always dieting! :)
The ABS name is an acronym for "Authentic Beauty & Strength" because I found my "authentic" path. I found something that works for me and my lifestyle.
I believe each person has their unique beauty and strength, and this brand is what represents that; so this is the philosophy behind ABS Pancakes. Our tag line, "I got my ABS eating Pancakes" came from my personal success achieving my ABS, and my journey helped me fully embrace and find my own "Authentic Beauty & Strength" :)

LPS Radio Network - Everyday Angels with host Marie Elisa, welcomes Celine Koropchak, research scientist and successful blueberry farmer. Celine will share divine messages she has received for the 2015 New Year. Her messages will offer guidance on how to live joyfully and in peace while great shifts in consciousness are taking place all around us.
Celine’s childhood was marked by her unique gift of sensitivity. As a child she articulated the experience as the presence of imaginary friends she named “Tovarysh,” the word for friend in the Slavic language. These divine messengers have remained a benevolent presence throughout her life. With a biology degree from Bucknell University, Celine pursued a career in medical research at Stanford University Medical Center and Duke University Medical Center. She has over 30 publications in infectious disease, biochemistry and cardiovascular scientific journals. Ten years ago, Celine realized a lifelong dream when she became a blueberry farmer. She started with 600 tiny starter plants, now yielding over a half a ton of blueberries each season, supplying local universities, corporate cafeterias, and farmer’s market.
Her book, One With All of Thee: Growing Your Sacred Connection, available on Amazon in paperback and eBook, is a collection of messages Celine received and assembled as a practical tool to help others with awareness, serenity, and greater purpose.

Blogtalk LPS Radio Network - Everyday Angels with host Marie Elisa, welcomes Leonard Szymczak, MSW, LCSW writer, speaker, therapist, and writing coach. Leonard will reveal to us that…Psychotherapy can drive you crazy!
We are spiritual beings on a human excursion. Therefore, no one is really broken or needs a label to be fixed. A caterpillar isn’t flawed with a narcissistic personality disorder because it believes it’s going to be a butterfly. A tadpole doesn’t have a pervasive developmental disorder because it’s not yet a frog.
We are all evolving toward higher consciousness. The only thing that is wrong is what we’ve been taught to think and believe about ourselves that stop us from being our true selves.
Leonard Szymczak has been a psychotherapist for the past 40 years. He believes that psychotherapy can drive people crazy with labels, judgments, and coping skills to preserve the separateness of the ego, instead of helping clients realize that Spirit is the ground of being. True healing occurs through acceptance, forgiveness, and love.
Join Leonard as he helps you find sanity and inner peace.
Leonard is offering a complimentary 15-minute session to those who mention Everyday Angels with host Marie Elisa.

Gentle World Cafe host, Suparna Malhotra, talks with Elisa Paloschi, about her film.
Driving with Selvi is a documentary film that tells the story of a remarkable young woman who defies strict patriarchal traditions and escapes a child marriage to become South India’s first female taxi driver.
We first meet 18-year-old Selvi at a girls’ shelter in 2004 - timid, soft-spoken, a fresh runaway from a violent past and the victim of a life set against her.
Over the 10 years filmed, we see a remarkable transformation as Selvi finds her voice and refuses to surrender to societal expectations – learning to drive, starting her own taxi company and working on the front lines of reproductive health education.
Instead of adhering to the patriarchal codes that oppress and restrict women, Selvi’s bold determination defies and challenges them. Will she hold steadfast on her road to economic empowerment? Will she remarry? After being unwanted and abused by her own mother, will she be able to break the vicious cycle of devaluing girls so prevalent in her society?
This character-driven story highlights the challenges that the disempowered female population in India face. While the film offers a glimpse into a world of poverty, prejudice and desperate circumstances, it shatters stereotypes as Selvi redefines herself from victim to survivor.
Through Selvi’s eyes, the audience is taken on an intimate journey, and perhaps even a familiar one, of healing, overcoming obstacles, and fulfilling dreams. Throughout this journey, it is Selvi’s unwavering spirit that shines through. Her refusal to surrender offers inspiration, hope and the clear message that anything is possible.
Ashley started out writing at the age of seven, which happens to be her lucky number. The were little books with pictures or whatever had came to mind. As she grew more as a writer and a person, her stories became more serious. She grew up with my grandma, since she was eleven, with her brother and sister along with aunts and uncles. There was nine of them including her grandma in her two storied house. To get away from the boredom, Ashley began to pick up a pen again, writing five books which I continued to nurture and rewrite as the years go on until she feel they are ready.
During college, Ashley gotten married and had two daughters. Her family motivated her more to follow her dream and write books. She had several hobbies, and a nerd, that includes: reading, watching anime, family time, and playing video games. She happens to be an avid Legend of Zelda fanatic. She would considered herself open-minded as well as diverse, especially when it comes to her outlook on life and her writing style. She's signed under as the First Lady of Grind 2 Glory Publications where she is known for her bestsellers "Two Sides To The Game", "Two Sides To The Game 2", "Duchessa", "Every Bitch Has A Secret", and "Twisted Faith Of A Side Bitch Peoria". All books are available on amazon.com. Get Your Copies Today! ♥
