Tonight we are celebrating the "birth" of our newest show on the Back2Us Radio Network--Transgender Thursdays.
The vision of our Transgender Thursday show is to provide a voice for but also support to our transgender brothers, sisters, their families, and significant others.
According to the National Center for Transgender Equality, "Numerous studies have shown that transgender people face disproportionate amounts of discrimination in all areas of life, especially in employment and health care."
Tye West and Eli Strong will talk one on one tonight with a diverse panel of guest as they reflect on their workplace transition experiences.
Join us as we shine the spotlight on the world’s sauciest authors dedicated to the realms of BDSM, GLBT, and Erotica. Write On the Edge (or WOE) asks the questions few dare, but we all want the answers to. It pushes the limits and creates the standard of steamy, intelligent converse. But keep in mind. . . it’s called “Write on the Edge” for a reason. (aka This show is not for the faint of heart!)
This weeks’s Featured Author is . . . Edmond Manning!
Edmond Manning writes some of the goofiest, unexpected, off-the-wall fiction out there today. His main body of work begins with King Perry, a tale of a car mechanic narrator who offers a stranger a tantalizing invitation: do you want to get kinged? For a free Manning read, check out this year’s goodreads MM Love’s Landscapes’ most-read fiction: Broken Phoenix.

Join Author Vicktor Alexander as he hosts this edgy, woefully delicious talk held in the whispers of the night each Thursday at 10pm central. OH, THE WOE!
Write On the Edge is produced by WON Radio as part of Writers Online Network (WON). More information about WON is available at www.writersonlinenetwork.org They can also be found on Facebook and Twitter @won_radio and @writersonnet
As trans* and gender queer people we often become so focused on our social, mental and physical transitions that they grow to be larger than life. So much so that we forget that a transition is just another word for a shift. A shift in thinking, a shift in geography, a shift in expectations, a shift in marital status or family size. They all affect us as human beings and they are yet another layer to our complex lives as trans*, gender queer, and queer people. And when we forget, it makes it that much easier for people outside our community to see us as just the sum of our surgeries.
Tonight's guest will be Nicholas Durand. Nicholas is 27 years old, and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in early 2013. A gay trans man living in Virginia, he is now the facilitator of DCATS and is an advocate for both LGBTQ+ and disability rights.
This show is sponsored by Audible.com (http://audiblepodcast.com/back2us). This month's recommended book is The Book Thief.
