Africans were brought to this country on slave ships they were stripped of their names, culture, and religion. The people with supreme knowledge of spiritually were disallowed from utilizing or spreading the valuable truths that had been passed down from prior generations. Truth that would have created a supernatural advantage that would have empowered the slaves to gain their freedom. Now, after chattel slavery is over these ancient secrets are being revealed to the descendants of these powerful spiritual ancestors. Now with the generations waking up to their divine reality they are still hitting a glass ceiling in which the former power structure do not want them to pass. They are met with cruel injustice, harsh inequality and blatant racism that on an unparalleled then even some of their parents were even treated. There is hope, spells, and fury brewing waiting for the right moment. This would be the BLACK MAGIC REVOLUTION: WILL THE OCCULT LIBERATE BLACK PEOPLE?

What uncommonly good ideas for teaching writing are supported by the ELA Common Core State Standards? Join us for a rebroadcast of our talk with Sandra Murphy and Mary Ann Smith, authors of the book, Uncommonly Good Ideas: Teaching Writing in the Common Core Era (a co-publication of NWP and Teachers College Press), and Brendan Nelson, high school English teacher.
Originally aired August 27, 2015, this show takes a close look at research-based best practices, including practices that ease students from one kind of writing (narrative) to another (argument).
pK-12 schools are beginning to recover from a fiscal famine yet with very different tastes in the educational resources they plan to purchase. Now we have the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in Math and ELA as well as the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). All of these put considerable emphasis on process and generating depth of understanding in addition to conveying essential information students need to build knowledge. Educators and institutions are also more savvy about going beyond the label that states the materials “meet the standard” and know to look for fundamental structural and design features that put the new standards into action. Even those states refuse to use the term CCSS or participate in the Common Core movement, the spirit of their educational processes have shifted much the same. In this Ed Table Talk show we have three well seasoned experts in marketing to pK-12 education, directly and though dealers, who have kept up with the trends and adapted their strategies to speak to this changing marketplace. Join us at 'The Table’ and listen in on our discussion about how to position your offerings to catch the attention of existing and potential customer in 2016 and how to communicate your ability to address their needs.
Guests at the table:
Michael Campbell, Head of Sales and Marketing at Learning Bird
Annie Teich, President at Teich Group
Sue Cowden, VP Product Management at AKJ Education

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
Then you wonder why where you live is always a ghetto or a slum area. And where you and I are concerned, not only do we lose it when we spend it out of the community, but the white man has got all our stores in the community tied up; so that though we spend it in the community, at sundown the man who runs the store takes it over across town somewhere. He's got us in a vise. So the economic philosophy of black nationalism means in every church, in every civic organization, in every fraternal order, it's time now for our people to be come conscious of the importance of controlling the economy of our community. If we own the stores, if we operate the businesses, if we try and establish some industry in our own community, then we're developing to the position where we are creating employment for our own kind. Once you gain control of the economy of your own community, then you don't have to picket and boycott and beg some cracker downtown for a job in his business." Malcolm Ela Haji Malik Shabazz
"Slavery produced benefits for over two hundred years. Agricultural slavery was primary. But many Americans think of slavery only in terms of agricultural commodity production. In fact, slavery generated great benefits in orate ways as well. Slaves were used in manufacturing services and in activities that today would be regarded as the responsibility of municipal or state government, such as running transportation, utility, and emergency services. also vitally important, slaves cleared land and built infrastructure —roads, dams, levees, canals, railroads and bridges.
It can be argued that without this labor the nation would not have expanded west as it did. Indeed, it is possible and perhaps probable that the United States would never have become continental nation. " Huey P. Newton
