Why me? Why now? What is God doing? Suffering is a tool God uses to get our attention and to accomplish His purposes in our lives. It is designed to build our trust in the Almighty, but suffering requires the right response if it is to be successful in accomplishing God’s purposes. Suffering forces us to turn from trust in our own resources to living by faith in God’s resources.
Suffering is not in itself virtuous, nor is it a sign of holiness. It is also not a means of gaining points with God, nor of subduing the flesh. When possible, suffering is to be avoided. Christ avoided suffering unless it meant acting in disobedience to the Father’s will.
What is suffering? What are these bends in the road that God puts in the path of life that we are to carefully consider? Simply stated, suffering is anything which hurts or irritates. In the design of God, it is also something to make us think. It is a tool God uses to get our attention and to accomplish His purposes in our lives in a way that would never occur without the trial or irritation.

Journalist James Foley has been beheaded by a British member of ISIS. Senator Inhofe has warned that ISIS is “rapidly developing a method of blowing up a major U.S. city.” Joshua Katz, a former CIA operations office and former adviser for the Department of Homeland Security says that ISIS may have already crossed the U.S. southern border.
It seems our government, intentionally or not, has created a scenario where ISIS can easily enter the United States of America with the potential to do great harm. Intelligence is warning us of an attack, yet President Obama has done nothing to secure the borders. In fact, it seems quite the opposite. DHS has also informed the public that illegals can fly on airplanes with no ID!
What would our country look like following an attack by this evil, bloodthirsty group that calls itself ISIS. Martial law? Activation of FEMA camps? Economic collapse?
Share this video with everyone you know. Demand that our borders be secured. Demand that illegals not be allowed to fly without ID. Make people aware that our government is doing nothing to prevent an attack by ISIS.

This is a question that has taken up entire sections in book stores, and has caused many to not believe. However, the bible does hold the answer to this important question, why does God allow so much suffering? Tune in to this special teaching, that we are making available, you can also order you a copy to pass out to friends, and lost family memebers.

The name Black Wallstreet conjures up images of an economicaly thriving African American community attacked and burned to the ground by jealous whites. Today's efforts to resurrect an economically thriving African American community in the wake of the recent riots in Missouri prompt the question "How Ca Econoic Empowerment of African Americans End Racial Injustice?" The disrespect of African Americans has been at the root of American politics, economics and culture, the result of the wounds of slavery that remain unhealed. Can financial affluence alone reverse attitudes of disrespect for black life? Are neighborhoods more likely to get respect from law enforcement officers if the residents are also the business owners in the community? How can a stronger economy in formerly economically depressed communities result in more tangible political gaines? What collective action will it take to circulate money into areas that are currently suffering the consequences of longtime neglect. Chicago activist Mark Allen discusses the plans for Black Wallstreet and how economic development can diffuse racial tensions end the gang violence that is often used as an excuse for excessive police force against African American youth.
Mark Palim, Vice President of Applied Economic and Housing Research for FNMA joins the broadcast to discuss 2014's 2nd half economic forecast. Palim is responsible for overseeing the Economic and Strategic Research Groups forecast and is FNMA's key spokesperson on economic and banking trends

ECONOMIC SECURITY is as important a part of our national security as military policy. NATIONAL SECURITY can be described as a capacity to control domestic and foreign conditions that a given community believes necessary to enjoy its own self-determination or autonomy, prosperity and wellbeing. ECONOMIC SECURITY or financial security is the condition of having stable income or other resources to support a standard of living now and in the foreseeable future. Some characteristics of economic security might include continued solvency, predictability of a person’s future cash flow, employment or job security. At YouthUSA, economic security means increasing assets and reducing liabilities where we live, learn, work and worship. YouthUSA economic security programs qualify American youth as assets and not liabilities in their communities. in doing so, we reduce historic threats to young American lives, build trust in American communities, and ensure security for our homeland.
