GOD KNOWS YOUR PAIN AN SUFFERING
DON'T BE SO QUICK TO THINK THAT GOD IS SOMEWHERE ELSE CONCERNING YOU?? IN OTHER WORDS, IT IS NOT WISE FOR YOU TO THINK THAT YOU'RE OVER HERE STRUGGLING AND SUFFERING IN PAIN WHILE GOD IS OVER THERE HANNDLING EVERY ONE ELSES PROBLEMS. SO MANY TIMES WE THAT ARE MINISTERS OF GOD, WE SPEND THE BALANCE OF OUR TIME LISTENING TO THE GRIPES AND THE GRUMBLING OF OTHERS, HELPING THEM TO STAND IN THE MIDST OF THEIR PAIN, PRAYING FOR THEM TO BE HEALED FROM SICKNESSES AND DISEASES, GOING ALL OF THE WAY OUT FOR THEM IN THE TIMES OF THEIR NEEDS, ONLY TO BE LEFT ALONE WITH NO ONE TO HEAR OUR PROBLEMS OR TO SOOTHE OUR PAINS! WE OFTEN FIND OURSELVES WALKING ALONE, HAVING ISSUES THAT WE CANNOT SHARE WITH MANY PEOPLE BECAUSE THAY CAN'T SEEM TO GET THE GIST OF WHAT IT IS THAT WE ARE OFTEN TALKING ABOUT. WE HAVE DISCOVERED THAT WE ARE LIVING ON THE SAME PLANET AS EVERYONE ELSE, BUT WE LIVE BY A TOTALLY DIFFERENT SET OF RULES. WE OURSELVES ARE MOST OFTEN LOOKING FROM A DIFFERENT SIDE OF THE SAME GLASS; SEEING THROUGH THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE MIRROR; HEARING THE UNSPOKEN; READING BETWEEN THE LINES; KNOWING THAT WHICH HAD NEVER BEEN TAUGHT TO US; AND/OR FEELING THE TOUCHES THAT HAD NEVER BEEN EXTENDED TO US....... FOR THIS REASON ALONE WE OFTEN FEEL THAT THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH US OR OUR MINISTRIES, SIMPLY BECAUSE IT DOESN'T APPEAR THAT THERE IS ANYONE THERE FOR US! GOD IS HERE STANDING BYE KNOWING THAT WE ARE GOING TO SUCCESSFULLY MINISTER TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ORDAINED FOR US TO ADMINISTER TO THEM THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD. IN SUCH CASES MANY ARE MISSING OUT ON THE FACT THAT IT IS GOD WHO IS WORKING IN US, THROUGH US, TO REACH OUT TO THOSE PERSONS THAT ARE BEFORE US. THE TRUTH IS THAT YOU WILL NEVER SUFFER, STRUGGLE, OR EVER HURT ALONE; GOD IS STANDING BYE, HE IS NIGH UNTO YOU RIGHT NOW!!!!! LET'S HAVE THIS DISCUSSION RIGHT NOW, ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO TALK? Finding Joy In Suffering
We don't like to suffer. Given the choice, most of us would do everything in our power to escape from suffering. Yet, we know that our redemption came about due to the suffering of Jesus. We also know that it is a part of our lives. According to the Bible, "we know that in EVERYTHING God works for good with those who love Him" (Romans 8:28). In other words, suffering can be good for us and will help us to get to Heaven! Survey Says!? Broadband Impacts Economic Development.
In March this year, in partnership with Broadband Communities Magazine, host Craig Settles conducted a survey of local government administrators and staff, service providers, consultants and others involved with broadband projects. What they have to say could directly influence your community’s efforts.
Magazine Editor Masha Zager joins us to analyze what survey results mean to your community. 60% of respondents say fiber networks attract business, 54% say it increases home-based businesses. Nearly half feel 20 – 120 Mbps is minimum needed to impact certain economic outcomes. Only 7% see “searching for a job” as the greatest benefit broadband offers individuals.
The survey explored broadband’s impact on six local economic outcomes in particular: attracting new businesses to town reviving depressed communitiesm making local companies more successful improving individuals’ income-earning potential increasing home-based businesses improving depressed business districts The survey also looks at the potential for broadband-enabled telemedicine to impact economic development, and probed how respondents view certain national broadband policies. We solicited feedback on possible broadband funding models. If economic development is important to you, listen to this show.
