Tonight we are talking about Cruising for love in 2015. Where should we go together to find love? What is the best month to take the trip? Who wants to take the trip? What events should be included in the schedule? How do we start to plan our getaway? I seriously need a holiday with my Global Dating Crew, who wants to join me?
On a cruise you don't have to stay on the ship. You can go rock-climbing, zip-lining, bowling, roller-blading, simulated surfing, ice skating, goofy golf, video games, first-run movies, wine tastings, live Broadway shows, live music, disco dancing and more. Once you get to ports of call you can add in SCUBA, snorkeling, water skiing, horseback riding, hiking and of course sightseeing and shopping.
A cruise is also a great time to chill out and it also offers plenty of relaxation time in your private stateroom, with a balcony in most cases, to read, watch movies and take a long bath and nap. You can also get spa treatments, work out in the fitness centers, read in the library, take classes in cooking, lifestyle, arts, computer tips, music, languages and more. If you are a party person there are parties almost every night with a variety of music from different genres. On a cruise you may even find the Man or Woman of your dreams....Whatever the outcome we will have an amazing experience!!!

Tonight I am joined by the author Dr Lesly Devereaux. She will share practical ways that we can break codependence at any point in time, and the sooner the better! What differentiates Breaking Co-Dependency, (order the book @ http://www.breakingcodependencybook.com) from other books on this topic is that you are brought into the life of the author as she navigates being incarcerated while reflecting on the enabling behaviors that put her there in the first place. Through the narrative of the author, a courageous speaker, coach and ordained minister, we are provided a valuable reference on how to break codependency. Its real value begins with the recommendations of how to stop enabling others.
Dr Lesly says....Deal with the demons of enabling; don’t run from them. Running from your problem will only exhaust you. You have heard the expression: you can run but you sure can’t hide. This is true of any situation that you find yourself in which requires you to face ugly truths about yourself. It always seems easier to act like your problem does not exist as opposed to facing it head on. The tendency to avoid internal confrontation is appealing, but it never works.

Tonight as requested by some of the men on last Tuesday's show we are discussing the significant increase in Cougars. The men said they felt used by these women who often discard them once they no longer serve their purpose.
A Cougar is an older woman who likes to date much younger man. Cougars are gaining in popularity -- particularly the true hotties -- as young men find not only a sexual high, but many times a woman who knows herself and is sexually confident.
So what's the issue for Men with Women who want an energetic partner who is young, vibrant and willing? Are women to powerful now? Is the younger woman under threat from these women who know what they want and are able to excite the minds of younger men? How do older men feel about the increasing numbers older women who have expectations can't meet? Should these Men move over and let the young ones take on the challenge of satisfying these Women lol?
Let's talk about it

Tonight we are talking about the nature of hetrosexual men and women and how the difference in our nature's affect the relationships we form with a partner. We are different because that's the way we have been created. How we understand our differences may be the reason why we are struggling with sustaining relationships. If men were to operate according to their true nature would it make a big difference to how women view men? Would women have more respect for their opposites if there was a stronger separation of roles between the sexes?

Tonight we are joining the discussion started on Mr Talk about the abuse of men....
According to Ask Men....The majority of men suffer in silence in the face of emotional abuse. They feel shame, fear, and choose to ignore the abuse and live with it. The fact is that we live in a society where the abuse of men is not a mainstream concern.
But abuse is abuse and as we mobilize to combat it when the victim is a woman, we have to offer the same compassion to men. Perhaps physical abuse is not as prevalent when the perpetrator is female, but my argument is that emotional abuse is. In fact, my theory is that men suffer more from emotional abuse in relationships than women.
A man may be more prone to strike a woman or commit sexual assault on his partner, but as for emotional abuse, I think women have the edge. I have no proof to claim that a female will commit emotional abuse more than a man but my bet is that it is far more common than anyone can imagine at present.
The problem is that we never hear about it. Men are tough, strong and impervious to abuse. Maybe. But why then, do I receive a constant stream of e-mail with regard to emotional abuse? Because like it or not, it is prevalent. The key is to spot it.

Join author Craig Steven Wilder for a discussion of his recent book - Ebony&Ivy: Race, Slavery, and the Troubled History of America's University. Craig Steven Wilder is a professor of American history at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has taught at Wiliams College and Dartmouth College.
Many of America's revered colleges and universities - from Harvard, Yale, and Princeton to Rutgers, Williams College, and UNC - were soaked in the sweat and the tears, and sometimes the blood of people of color. The earliest academies proclaimed their mission to Christianize the savages of North America, and played a key role in white conquest. Later, the slave economy and higher education grew up together, each nurturing the other. Slavery funded colleges, built campuses, and paid the wages of professors. Enslaved Americans waited on faculty and students; academic leaders aggressively courted the support of slave owners and slave traders. Significantly, as Wilder shows, our leading universities, dependent on human bondage, became breeding grounds for the racist ideas that sustained them.
Ebony and Ivy is a powerful and propulsive study and the first of its kind, revealing a history of oppression behind the institutions usually considered the cradle of liberal politics.
