SHOW NOTES: Our show topic is, “Grading Feedback...How Much Is Too Much?"
I really enjoy grading student submissions! Yes, I honestly look forward to the student grading process. Grading student submissions is one of the most fascinating aspects of teaching! We just have to prepare and plan ahead for it to be fun! Having the opportunity to access the student submissions where they share their innermost thoughts, their analysis, and their unique worldview is a privilege. The entire process of disseminating information to several students at the same time and in the same manner (via in class lecture in a physical classroom, via releasing an audio lecture in an online classroom, etc.) and then having the ability to observe how different students accessed that information and interpreted it is exciting. It is like going to see a movie with a group of friends and then discussing it afterwards and finding out how differently we all experienced the same content. There are times when it will seem like we didn’t even see the same film! The way we all interpret information is related to our individual experiences, our existing knowledge base, our interests, our biases, and a range of other factors.
It is the same exploration of how we and other people process the world when I have the opportunity to grade student submissions. We all have been in the same class with the same information yet that shared experience is filtered through the lens of each scholars’ unique combination of factors that make them an individual. There are times when I grade work and I learn that I need to address enhancement of, or replacement of, a particular issue that was not conveyed effectively to a large portion of the group. At other times I will ask myself if we all were i

Without feedback, you can never really capture the full picture of what it is consumers want or how and when they want it. Developing a culture of feedback within your business strategy is essential for making the most of your consumer engagements and for crafting the precise integrated marketing communication's messaging. That is our focus on this edition of, “The Strategist Radio LIVE.”
One of the most common areas of frustration in the workplace is lack of performance feedback. Employees want to know how they're doing on the job but managers aren't giving feedback because they don't know where to start so they delay, avoid, or just don't do it. Too many leaders are making this way more difficult than it needs to be. It doesn't need to be difficult when you follow a simple model.
Top 5 reasons you need to listen to this episode:
You can develop your leadership skills in just 15 minutes
Giving feedback isn't difficult when you know where to start
The better you get at giving feedback the more valuable you become
Employee engagement increases when employees know how they're doing
The #1 Reason... what you learn will make your job so much easier!

Tune in and learn how to Automate your eBay feedback
Most professional sellers on eBay don't have time to leave their customers feedback; however, the same sellers also know that giving is the best way to receive. Feedback Pro lets you create as many positive feedback messages as you want and automatically sends them when your customers complete payment.
Sometimes, customers are so satisfied with their purchases that they forget about you. Now you have a program to help them remember to help you. Feedback Pro sends up to 2 personalized feedback requests a specified number of days after each sale. Customers are often obliged to leave you feedback and have no problem with it. In fact, they'll thank you for reminding them.
When a customer leaves negative or neutral feedback, we'll send you an e-mail or shoot your cell phone an SMS with as much contact information as eBay makes available to us. Often times, customers assume your an impersonal company that won't take them seriously. Contact them instantly to help them and request feedback revisions.
Finally, Feedback Pro completes the loop by sending your customers e-mails after feedback is received. You can use these e-mails to say thanks, sorry, send promotions, favorite seller links, and more.
I'll be joined with special guest John Wheeler--technical author, owner of High Volume Seller, and creator of Feedback Pro for eBay.
