One of my favorite quotes from Peter Drucker is "culture eats strategy for breakfast every time"! Most people think the key to their businesses success is their strategy. The fact is the key to the success of any organization is the culture. There is a sequence that makes the difference in creating long pasting success and it starts with what I call championship psychology. Championship psychology represents culture. It is the first blade on your productivity windmill. How you manage these drivers as an individual or as a group will determine your success with creating winning strategies and sustainable result. It is my experience that culture can be broken down into 4 components that apply to you and your team. To understand more about my perspective pick up a copy of my book the productivity zone. Today we are going to learn the following
Why organizational culture is a strategic and financial issue, not an HR topic.
How culture develops and what you can do to take more control.
Why behavior matters more than values.
