This episode will reflect on lIfe and how many things that seem "comfortable" or "easy" may not take us in our desired direction. Yet the important things we have to or should do are harder to do. Doing/being easy doesn't always make life fun and over time we may have regrets. But there is a Positive Perspective to void easy.
Take it easy, take it easy Don't let the sound of your own wheels Drive you crazy Lighten up while you still can Don't even try to understand Just find a place to make your stand And take it easy
We should (in my humble opinion) seek to find balance in all aspects of our lives. In the big scheme of things, some events will be hard and some will be easy. There is an old Zen saying that says "When you learn to love hell, you will always be in heaven". Easy and hard are all in the perspective that you hold. Today we'll be looking at the light and shadow of easy and hard, finding how sometimes the hardest path is the easiest way. As usual, I will be opening the phone lines to listeners that would like to share and seek input on this topic or issues that they are having with creating harmony and resonance in their lives and relationships.
Also, those that log into the chatroom will have the opportunity to post questions and have them addressed on the air. Just let my producer Kyna know that you are posting a question. If you are listening on archives, you can email your questions to: HealingHouseRadio@the-healing-house.com. I will get to as many as possible during each show.
While we would love to get to evryone that calls, we will only be able to get so many on the air. If we can't address your call during the show, you can email your question or comment for the next show.

Dr. E. Douglas Brown, licensed Clinical Psychologist will be the speaker on this re-broadcast show. He will talk about validation as it applies to parent and child relationships and how it changes upon maturation; Why it is necessary to give it and to receive it. He will also talk about the higher level of validation which is self validation. It is important to: •Feel like you are important •Know that your feelings are real, very personal to you, and should be acknowledged as such •Feel okay sharing those feelings and personal outlooks/perspectives •Feel like someone is not going to ridicule you or in some other way disrespect you behind your expressed feelings •Feel at ease discussing what is deep inside.
