NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Finals Game 1 Preview
The defending world champions Miami Heat who swept Milwaukee in the 1st round & defeated Chicago in all games but the 1st in round 2 has had nearly an entire week & plenty of time to sit and wait on the arrival of the traveling Indiana Pacers tonight @ American Airlines Arena tipping of @ 8:30pm est. on TNT. Indy comes in to South Beach with a chip on their shoulders especially after last year's postseason loss to the "red-hot" M-I-A following the elimination to the Atlanta Hawks in round uno in addition to a 4-2 series defeat that sent Carmelo Anthony (the league's scoring champion) home earlier than expected in 6 games. Will the REST turn into RUST for the defending champs after so much time off? What is the latest update to Heat guard Dawyne Wade & how will it effect the team vs a 'very defensive' opponent? Do we expect Miami to overlook Chicago as it seems they did in G1? Eastern Montana - From Dinosaurs to Drag Car Racing
World Footprints travels through Eastern Montana and explores the history and diversity of Big Sky Country's eastern border. Today we'll fulfill a "need for speed" when we go drag car racing at Phillips County Motor Sports Dragstrip in Malta with racing champions Shaun and Dillion Carnahan. We'll travel along the vast landscape of the Hammond Ranch where some of the most significant dinosaur discoveries have been made. From Malta we'll head south to Billings and go behind the scenes at the Dino Lab where prehistoric creatures are restored fossil-by-fossil. Finally, we'll visit the elegant Moss Mansion former home to Billings founder Preston Boyd Moss. NFL Draft Buzz Eastern Washington Nicholas Edwards
A walk-on when he first came to Eastern Washington, Edwards says he had a “chip on his shoulder” after he graduated from high school with no college scholarship offers and says, “I’ve worked really hard to prove everybody wrong.” He has started a team-leading 37 games in his career and has played in all 38 EWU games the past three seasons. He has started the last 29 games, and the only start he has missed in his 38-game career was to allow a senior to start on Senior Day in 2009. He has had six performances with at least 10 catches in his career, and seven with at least 100 yards. At the end of spring practices, he was one of three players receiving an “Iron Eagle” Award for achievements in the off-season in strength and conditioning and the classroom.
