Dylan Brody is one of America's leading humorists and story tellers.
With fans that include comedic legends such as Carl Reiner, Robin Williams, Roseanne Barr and Paul Krassner, and an ever-expanding repertoire of witty and profound tales of his journey through life that are unique, yet utterly recognizable to everyone, Dylan has earned a reputation as one of America’s fastest rising storytellers.
Dylan has been invited again in 2015, to appear on stage with fellow humorist and best selling authour David Sedaris.
He currently writes and performs regularly for the David Feldman show on KPFK (Pacifica Radio) in Los Angeles, The Drive with Steve Jaxon on KSRO (Sonoma County), and is a regular contributor to John Rabe’s OFF RAMP on KPCC, NPR's Pasadena affiliate. He has written for dozens of comedians, including Jay Leno, who has used Brody’s work in his monologues on NBC’s The Tonight Show.
In 2005, Dylan won the Stanley Drama award for playwriting. He is a thrice-published author of fiction for the Young Adult market with one of his books, A Tale of a Hero and The Song of Her Sword finding a place in the curriculum at several public schools in the U.S., earning him a yearly influx of poorly written fan letters and e-mails to which Mr. Brody diligently replies.
In early 2007, Dylan Brody's Thinking Allowed, brought long form humor and insight, literate and literary, to a broad based audience. The show, the first of its kind ever in the venue, enjoyed a successful six month run on the main stage at the Hollywood Improv.
Dylan has worked in venues fall over the world, sharing the stage with some of the comedy world’s biggest stars. He has appeared at M.I.T., at Sarah Lawrence College’s vast Reisinger Concert Hall and served as Northfield Mount Hermon School’s first ever Artist in Residence.
I caught up with Nick Spark and Jessica Cox from Right-Footed.
Born without arms as the result of a severe birth defect, Jessica Cox never allowed herself to believe that she couldn’t accomplish her dreams.
An expert martial artist, college graduate and motivational speaker, Jessica is also the world’s only armless airplane pilot, a mentor, and an advocate for people with disabilities
Directed by Emmy Award winning filmmaker Nick Spark, Right Footed chronicles Jessica’s amazing story of overcoming adversity and follows her over a period of two years as she becomes a mentor for children with disabilities and their families, and a disability rights advocate working in the U.S.A. and abroad.

This is Revenge of the Birds Radio's 100th episode! It happens to come after one of the best wins of the season by the Arizona Cardinals. They got a win for the second week in a row on Sunday Night Football against a quality opponent, defeating the then 8-1 Cincinnati Bengals 34-31 in a thriller that went down to the wire. Hosts Jess Root and Seth Cox talk about the win and what it means moving forward.
Is there a team who can beat the Cardinals and stop their potent offense? They put up 39 against the 2nd-ranked scoring defense in Week 10 and then 34 on the league's top-ranked scoring defense. The hosts praise the play and the season of Carson Palmer, who might be playing th quarterback position better than anyone else in the NFL.
They look at the many good things from the game, including the breakout game by rookie 5th round pick J.J. Nelson and the contributions of other rookies.
They discuss the season moving forward and then touch on the latest Daryl Washington news.
Have a listen and head on over to Revenge of the Birds to keep the conversation going.
