You've gotta listen to hear the rest of the brilliance. Or not :)

It truly is the end of an era! Anthony Geary made his final and permanent exit from General Hospital on Monday, July 27 as he had one last conversation w/Sonny then disappeared into the fog for parts unknown. For anyone who has been immersed in the iconic drama it's been a sad moment, though I think tougher for those who worked with Tony for so many years.
Join me tonight with my special guests Jackie Zeman, who played Luke's little sister Bobbie Spencer and Ian Buchanan, who also worked with Tony for so many years. Both were at the finale goodbye party and have lots of insight into Tony's last year on GH.

Hey Hey Hey Hey, to the inner and outer sanctum that follow the show commonly known as Afronerd Radio's Mid Week in Review! Join Capt. Kirk and Dburt for another 2 hour sonic space mission scheduled to take place this Wednesday at 7:30pm EST. The topics up for discussion are: what (and why) does the Waco Thug/Biker wars mean for Black folks in the wake of the unrest in Baltimore; our thoughts regarding a Duke University professor's online comments comparing Black and Asian students and how many our deeming his opinions to be racist; rap mogul, Sean P. Diddy Combs weighs in and questions the #BLACKLIVESMATTER movement via instagram; Dburt revisits (clarifies?) his thoughts on director, Ava DuVernay possibly helming Marvel's upcoming Black Panther movie (and how it relates to HBO's Bessie film); more on the passing of Blues Icon, B.B. King; Dburt highlights Drs. John McWhorter and Glenn Loury's bloggingheads show; certainly a Grindhouse topic-we may see Earth 2 depicted on Flash (wow, a Jay Garrick siting). This will be a several part series in which I will be interviewing a man whom is a deep part of the early Moonshine running culture, Jerry E. Rushing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Rushing I came to know good Mr Rushing in early 2007 through my colleague in Northern Florida Mr Peter Nickerson. Through the years since, Jerry and I have had literally days worth of conversation upon several topics that will be touched upon within this series. For those that are unaware, it was his early Moonshine running days that was the basis for the hit TV show The Dukes of Hazzard. We will not be taking calls this episode, but toward the end of this several part series Mr Rushing has agreed to do so.
