If you don't know who Robert Drysdale is, you will by the end of the hour. Suffice it to say, when high level MMA fighters want a ground advantage, they look the direction of this 6x world champion. They either end up in his studio in Las Vegas, or are adopting techniques he developed.
To accommodate the schedule of our special guest we're inverting the show format. Rather than dissect the news for 20 minutes and bring Mr Drysdale on, we're opening the show with him, will jump to the phone lines ASAP, and will keep him as long as possible.
We will close the show with the news.
Mr. Drysdale rarely gives interviews, even more rarely answers live questions from fans, so if you want to talk to an American legend in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, call in early.
One of today's hottest knitting trends is entrelac, a modular technique that produces a striking woven diamond pattern. Using only simple knit and purl stitches, knitters can create eye-catching pieces with incredible texture. Rosemary Drysdale's new book, Entrelac, introduces this innovative and adaptable technique, along with 25+ patterns for a variety of garments, accessories, home decor accents and baby items. Comprehensive instructions and more than 65 swatches provide endless possibilities in cables, lace, colorwork and much more.
Rosemary Drysdale is a knitting editor at Vogue Knitting and KnitSimple magazines and a consultant and designer in the yarn industry. She has enjoyed a long career as an embroidery and knitting teacher and designer, including at Pratt Institute and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
