A deep look inside opiod Drug Addiction
September is National Recovery Month. Join us for a special “Live From Trenton” broadcast as we discuss the work being done by the Governor’s Council on Alcohol and Drug Addiction in NJ by putting the spotlight on the Council’s 22 Annual Summit at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.
We will speak with two of the principals participating in this event as we explore the important work being done to help individuals overcome addiction and educate others on the available resources for prevention.
Our guests will include former NJ Governor James McGreevey. He works with the women of the Integrity House Program at the Hudson County Correctional Center. McGreevey presently guides and directs the Integrity House initiative's spiritual counseling as well as works with the women upon discharge to secure mentoring; a continued commitment to principles of recovery; and, reintegration into the Hudson County community.
We will also talk with Benjamin John Chin, a keynote speaker at the event. Now 25 years old, Chin has been in recovery since age 19. He is currently a senior at Rutgers University majoring in Public Health and Linguistics, and plans to pursue a law degree with his sights set on influencing domestic health policy in the near future. All of Ben’s involvement on campus contributed to his development as a leader making it possible for him to become a founding member of the non-profit organization Young People in Recovery, which is a grassroots advocacy organization that mobilizes the voice of young people in recovery from addiction.
The Governor’s Council on Alcohol and Drug Addiction executes three core functions: policy and planning; public awareness and education; and, the administration of the Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Program.
Join us as we launch our first episode of "Reality Check 317" on The UCOFW Network ... Featuring Cie Johnson and Senica Harris. We will discuss family issues and drug addiction
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9pHWSY3lZs The TMJ treatment Toronto area dentists provide is considered by many to be the most effective form of treatment for a disorder of the TMJ Toronto patients have. Unfortunately, not all dentists are comfortable treating this disorder and a dentist is often not seen until a patient has been suffering in pain for quite a while. There are many possible reasons why many dentists are not comfortable treating TMJ syndrome. The first is the fact that the temporomandibular joint is perhaps the most complex joints in the body. The second is that it often takes years of study and hundreds of successful treatments on patients to become very comfortable in treating this disorder. The temporomandibular joint is located behind the ear where the jaw meets the skull. Many ligaments, nerves and muscles are location in and around this joint which radiate out to many locations in the head, face, neck and rest of the body.

Many people suffer with different types of pain for years without realizing they actually have a TMJ disorder. Some of the most common TMJ symptoms people have include headaches, migraines, facial pain, neck pain and jaw pain. A clicking or popping sound in the ears is also very common. There are many other symptoms and if you believe you may have a disorder of the TMJ Toronto has many professionals who can help provide you with pain relief. It is important to know that no dentist is officially allowed to refer to themselves as a TMJ specialist Toronto has available for TMJ treatment Toronto patients need.
