Join us this week as we welcome pop music singer songwriter, Bailey Coats. Hailing from Birmingham, AL., she has gone from performing at her elementary school, to an artist performing coast to coast. She has been from LA to Plant City Florida. These two cities have become two of her favorite places she has performed. Bailey recently released her first EP entitled "American Girl". She has also released a music video for the single as well. She recently was featured on the Stars To Come website as an artist to watch and performed live on ABC 33/40 in Birmingham. James L. Bailey is interviewed as the author of the Contrast Community which is an intense discovery of the Sermon on the Mount and it's meaning. It deals with the beattitudes which appeals to those who have emptiness and desire mercy to those who have fullness and can give. He approaches the book as a tool for the church to use a transformative power to minister to the external world by employing lessons Jesus gave like turning the other cheek, giving the cloak off your back, walking the extra mile for someone. He also tackles broader lessons of Christ on adultery, anger and its potential damage and how to become perfect in Christ (don't swear, express hatred). The church can use these basic precepts as an effective ministry to help those who are suffering in their local community. He also explains the difference of believers in the 1st Century church who were rabbinical Jews, Pharisees, Gentiles and how Jewish converts had to deal with critics to come full circle in the Judeo-Christian belief and accept the Messiah.
James Bailey graduated from Capital University (1960) and Trinity Lutheran Seminary (1964) in Columbus, Ohio, before earning a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland (1967). After pastoring in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jim taught at Trinity Lutheran Seminary (1970-74), Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota (1975-85), and Wartburg Theological Seminary (1985-2003). Jim is now the John S. and William A. Wagner Professor Emeritus of Biblical Theology at Wartburg Seminary, having retired from full-time teaching in 2003. Jim has published several Bible studies for the church and is co-author of Literary Forms in the New Testament. He most recently published Contrast Community: Practicing the Sermon on the Mount, the topic for his session during Re-formation and Renewal. Jim and his wife Judy still reside in Dubuque, Iowa.

Gospel pioneer Sallie Martin once said, “I’ve never been the greatest, nobody ever called me the greatest; yet, still I’ve been everywhere the greatest have been…” These words could have easily been spoken by Nashville’s own, Everett M. Drake, as he, too, has shared the stage with many of the music industry’s greatest luminaries.
Like so many entertainers, Everett’s musical roots began in the church, singing in the choir and later serving as Choir Director of his beloved First Baptist Church South Inglewood. His dynamic passion for singing and directing were soon recognized by other gospel singers and he was tapped to join The Johnson Ensemble, a local singing group. They were enormously popular during the 1970s and recorded several albums. Their signature album, “The Harvest Is Plentiful” brought them national recognition.
As an artist Natasha Gray aims to keep the integrity of our rich Gospel Legacy and great songwriting. Liquid Prayers is an amazing song written by the Gospel Industry’s “Girl Director”, Natalie Wilson. Produced byNatasha’s husband, Rodrick Cliché. [Co-Writer and Producer of Dorinda Clark Cole’s newest single, “Bless This House”] Through warm vocals over this vintage gospel musicianship, very reminiscent of early 80’sAndrae Crouch songs, Natasha ministers to our hearts. This heartfelt message tells us, while we may not always have the words to speak, God understands. Your listeners will definitely connect with this inspirational song!

Are my Memories real? Could it be possible that I'm not making up these images in my mind? What are my dreams trying to tell me? Why do I have fragments of memories with absolutely no context? These are the types of questions that many people are asking. As more and more people are awakening to the reality of dissociation, they are beginning to ask these types of questions about their own experience. On today's program, the goal is to bring understanding and affirmation to the question: Are my memories real?
To help us answer this question we are joined by Dr. Preston Bailey who has worked with survivors of satanic ritual abuse and mind control agendas for decades. We are also joined by Carolyn Hamlett and Loren, who are both survivors. They are joining us to share personal testimony on their journey of healing and their recovery of memories. This program will answer a lot of questions from both a technical and experiential angle. Don't miss it!

RASHEED BAILEY, DELAWARE VALLEY, WR
NFL DRAFT PROSPECT
Delaware Valley receiver Rasheed Bailey is the true definition of a small-school NFL Draft Prospect. Standing at 6’2 and 205-pounds he led the team with 80 catches, for a incredible 1,707 yards and 19 touchdowns. Not many times is a D3 prospect considered such a legit NFL prospect.
In 2013, he started all 11 games and earned a spot on the all-MAC first team and led the Aggies with 51 catches for 977 yards and eight touchdowns. He shattered those numbers in 2014 and once again earned the 2014 All-Middle Atlantic Football Team and named MAC Offensive Player of the Year.
Host Cyrus Webb welcomes author Jason Drake to #ConversationsLIVE to discuss his journey as a writer and what it's been like to share his book THE LAST CLASS with readers.
