Certified Integrated Transformational Life Coaches Vicy Wilkinson and Ingrid Sthare talk with listeners about Holiday Ups and Downs in this 6-episode series. Tonight, we talk about Thanksgiving and Ingrid shares why Thanksgiving has become her favorite holiday, even though it is terribly bittersweet. One of the “ups” of Thanksgiving is it’s a day of family (by birth and/or choice) with no gifts; one of the “downs” is that it can be tough to get through after the death of someone in that special group of family.

Jeff Gordon wins his 92nd career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Kevin Harvick once again had the fastest car of the race, and had a dominant performance before misfortune on a late race pit stop lead to a blown left front tire, and Harvick had to survive for a 13th place finish.
Four drivers were eliminated today after the conclusion of the AAA 400 @ Dover. Greg Biffle, A.J. Allmendinger, Kurt Busch and Aric Almirola were eliminated. We'll talk about how our chase grids are looking, and discuss who we think may not make it through the next round.
And also, let's talk about the 3,000 pound elephant in the room; Dale Earnhardt Jr has really struggled so far in this chase. We'll discuss why, and after his comments today, does Dale Earnhardt Jr still have a shot to win this thing in 2014?
And if Dale isn't a contender any longer, is Jeff Gordon the only driver at Hendrick Motorsports that is still a contender? Can Jimmie Johnson still do it, or are he and Chad Knaus just too far off to win this thing? We'll talk about that too.
Before we discuss the when and why of racism being socially and polically acceptable again in America, let's see if we can decide what racism is. America fully understood racism in the 50s & 60s. Whites explained it then as that's the way things are. That's the way it is supposed to be. Black people were to know and stay in their place. White people were not to voice any other opinon. Today, there is a crumped up different meant to racism. Some will say racism is being intolerate of an entire race of people. This I don't buy, the reason being if racism is being intolerant of a group of people, explain how you are being intolerant toward me and people who look like me. Being visably intolerant is to show up in decision making toward me. Being visably intolerant is behaviour that becomes part of my life and my life's choices. That word racism is applied when visably there are actions involved that harm individuals that are members of a group of people. Black people! There is another part of racism that make racism America's reality. The other part is White priviledge. If racism is intolerance for an entire group than White priviledge is acceptance of an entire group. Could a White person be racist toward his own group of other White people? If there is such a thing as White priviledge, is there also Black priviledge? Do both White priviledge and Black priviledge have the same behaviours and consequences in our society? Now, why is racism now politically and socially acceptable in America here in 2014? My answer is because the elite was once above showing racism. Since 2008 the elite put a stamp of approval on racist actions and language and those who worship the corruption of the elite took up the cause. Racist remarks are again acceptable and those not willing to partake could find themselves friendless. Recall pre 70's USA!
The journey to become a pro wrestler is long and hard. What happens when the journey is over and the boots are hung up? We discuss how former pro wrestlers cope with a life after knowing nothing but the ring for so long. How wrestlers rise to a new glory in a new passion. Those who fallen so far and sometimes redeem themselves. Then there are those who a tied to wrestling so much that they are never really gone but find ways to be sucess while away from the ring in different ventures.
A variety of topics were covered on the last program of 2014, including a rather in-depth discussion of the "embarrassment factor" (kids who can hold it together outside of the home but are very challenging inside the home). Just because a kid is holding it together outside of the home doesn't mean there aren't problems to be solved.
