In the midst of such an awesome memorial and tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Pastor Donnie McClurkin is "asked not to attend" simply because he shared his personal testimony of the deliverance of God in his life.
Because local gay rights activists objected, there has been a rift, a great divide in what was to be a united effort of celebration of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington.
It is a sad time when one's right to speak, and especially to speak about their personal experience with Christ, must be measured against a yard stick that is held by one political group. Dr. King was about so much more than that!
Join us for our discussion tonight on this moving event that is unfolding before our eyes. What do you have to say about it?
This is not a time to sit by and watch. In the words of Pastor McClurkin - "Stand!"
