Donald H. Graves was involved in writing research for decades. His booksWriting: Teachers & Children at Work (Heinemann, 1983) and A Fresh Look at Writing (Heinemann, 1994) are bestsellers throughout the English-speaking world and have revolutionized the way writing is taught in schools.
Don was a teacher, school principal, and language supervisor, education director, and a director of language in bilingual, ESL, and special programs. He has also been a codirector of an undergraduate urban teacher preparation program and a professor of an early childhood program. He was Professor Emeritus at the University of New Hampshire.

replacing error with truth........Will Rogers, MT33/Truthologist The worship of the sun is still in existence today. Every sunday people get up and go to SUN DEITY Worship. Where did this come from? Who authorized sun deity worship?
The Bible plainly states that Christ is the Head of the Church (Eph. 1:22-23; Col. 1:18); NOT ROME! The Catholic Church believes that Christ, in effect, delegated away His authority over the Church to Peter—who they proclaim was the first pope—speaks plainly of how they have used this “authority.” What the Word of God says about the Sabbath were shocking to me, so should the following statements be shocking to you!
“For example, nowhere in the Bible do we find that Christ or the Apostles ordered that the Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. We have the commandment of God given to Moses to keep holy the Sabbath day, that is the 7th day of the week, Saturday.
Today most Christians keep Sunday because it has been revealed to us by the [Roman Catholic] church outside the Bible” (Catholic Virginian, “To Tell You the Truth,” p. 9, Oct. 3, 1947).
‘Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day.’ But Sunday is not the Sabbath. Any schoolboy knows that Sunday is the first day of the week.
“Is Saturday the seventh day according to the Bible and the Ten Commandments? The answer yes.
Is Sunday the first day of the week and did the Church change the seventh day—Saturday—for Sunday, the first day? The answer yes.
Did Christ change the day? THE ANSWER IS NO!

Sun, Moon, Stars - Spiritual Family
SUN, MOON, STARS – SPIRITUAL FAMILY New models of family are being created with lightening speed frequency as a result of societal and individual decay. This has compelled many to redefine their idea of what family is and it’s inherent function. These new definitions have not come as a product of progressive evolution but instead from the minds of a culturally amnesiac and acquiescent people. As a consequence of adopting a one hundred percent tolerance policy the call and mandate of the subjects of said redefinition has not included relevant functionality. Family exist and revolves around an imperative larger than the prevalently accepted nuclear model. Thought much celebrated if we give thought to the nuclear model we will see that its power lies in its ability to contribute to and draw from a larger communal web. Originally published in two volumes in 1925, New England Captives Carried to Canada represents decades of research conducted by Coleman and C. Alice Baker (author of True Stories of New England Captives Carried to Canada, 1897).
This work names all the captives the two women discovered, provides biographical data for each, and paints a detailed picture of the Indian attacks on New England communities over the eighty-year period. Includes sources, a comprehensive index, and an appendix with greater explanation of terms, key people, and places mentioned in the text. For nearly a century, this has been the go-to resource and the most definitive work ever published on the subject.
Donald R. Friary was Executive Director of Historic Deerfield in Deerfield, Massachusetts for 27 years. After his retirement in 2003 he became Historic Deerfield's Senior Research Fellow. A native of Boston, and a graduate of the Boston Latin School and Brown University, he holds a Ph.D. in American Civilization from the University of Pennsylvania. He served as the museum's first Director of Academic Programs from 1971 to 1973 and was named Assistant Director and then Executive Director in 1975. He has served on a number of Boards including the Bay State Historical League, the Dublin Seminar for New England Folklife, the Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities, the Winterthur Museum's Education Committee, and the Hill-Stead Museum.
