Our conversation this week has been all about torture, and now the Congress is fighting against reconciling with Cuba.  We have accepted Torture as a way of life even though it is not how we as a nation have operated in the past.  130 Children shot dead in a school in Pakistan, six members of a family in Pennsylvania, killed by an ex-husband, before he commits suicide, and young Black men shot dead in the streets of our cities and in the parks and in Wal Mart.   There needs to be a reconsideration of what is right as we pass through this life.  We need to respect each other and wish only the best for one another.  Join us at 9:00 am est 12/18/14 on blogtalkradio.com /don-durant  online or on the phone: 718-305-6322

The Don S. McClure Show Live - Appreciating Your Joy

Your joy is filled with exciting moments that last for a life time.

They are the memories of the great moments that leave an imprint on your mind and heart. That first kiss, that first job, that first project that came to life and you were so proud of what you created.

That first feeling of love between you and someone special that you just could not get enough of them being in your life.

That first apartment or home and of course your first child.

But most important that true joy of being who you are with no boundries.

Being able to express yourself and your feelings and ideas and thoughts.

The joy of spending time with friends and family.

The joy you found in a good book or a movie that you just could not forget the words that were spoken or written on a page.

The joy you felt from a song, that you believed might have been written just for you or your situation.

Once you learn to appreciate the joy in your life, all the things that are not filled with joy will not matter. Because that joy you feel will erase all doubt and place you on the path of believing in self.

In our cities and communities, the wealthy have begun buying up assets.  Detroit is selling buildings for sixty cents on the dollar and the Waldorf Astoria Hotel has been bought by China for two billion dollars. In New Orleans the people are still suffering and homes are un-repaired, un-rebuilt, and un-financed.  The state is fighting to allow the Keystone Pipeline to travel acoss the midsection of the nation to pump Canadian oil for transport to other nations.  Harlem is being bought up and swept up by outside interests. Detroit is suffering under hacking of the government by outside forces, and Hempstead Village, New York is suffering the same pangs of change with greedy land developers.  Tune in and share with us. blogtalkradio.com /don-durant
