The Lundyn Brown Show Episode: Marriage Soup for the Soul

    in Culture

"I think the biggest issue in marriage is boundary problems. Spouses so often try to change the other in the name of helpfulness. The truth is the only person you can change is you. You married them the way they are. If they're a slob, they probably were since childhood. The best you're going to do is change your response."

    — Gina Holmes, author of Wings of Glass, March 2013

Our Broadcast today will focus on our children, our schools and our community failures. Money is a powerful force.  We work for it, spend it, use it to satisfy our earthly longings.  But so many of our communities take our tax dollars and  fail to provide for our students.  Common Core, is only one of the issues, the other in the Largest Town in America, (Town of Hempstead) is the redevelopment going on with the wealthy developers building 6-10 story apartment buildings in a single Village of Hempstead, and failing to provide adequate classroom space for the growing families. The Village has selected a developer, Renassance Downtown, and failed to allocate appropriate funds, for development depending on tax increases to bring it about as they move out established residents.  Tune in and join in on our broadcast on blogtalkradio.com /don-durant...

The Don S. McClure Live - Believing in yourself.

    in Lifestyle

The Don S. McClure Show-Believing In Yourself

Our show: Tonight’s Topic: Believing in yourself.

You would think anyone who is past the age of 42 would believe in them selves a lot greater then when they were 32, but the truth of this issue is that most people find many ways on a daily bases not to believe in themselves and the power they have over their own life. They the movies like the Ernie Davis Story a young man who fights with all his heart to stay alive and complete his dream of playing Football besides Jim Brown on the Cleveland Brown team and yet loses his fight to Leukemia at the age of 23. And we see many other stories of courage and commitment and yet we still have doubt placed in our mind about our self-worth.  We know in our heart it is right to believe in what we dream.

But we continue to fall short when we receive the first letter of rejection, or the first failed relationship.

The real question is what will it take for you to believe in your self.
