If you're on the west coast you know the band called Luxxe. Described as Pop Folk Music straight from the desert heat they are seriously burnin' down the house on a stage somewhere nearly every night of the week. Once again we got lucky when they found Madame Perry on Twitter and shared a link to their music. When I produced a cable entertainment show I could predict which of my guests was going to be big. Luxxe is going to be big.
Get to know them here, listen to their smokin' hot tunes and put them on your playlists.

Chef & Author Lorne Oliver Cooks Up Spine Chilling Terror In Madame Perry's Salon
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Lorne Oliver was born and raised in the rural area outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. It was the perfect place for him to grow up because his favorite thing to do was go hiking through the woods as often as he could with his dog Bullet at his side and a notebook in his backpack. He first made the conscious decision to be a writer when he was ten and the school librarian asked if anyone knew any Canadian author's. He put his hand up and the librarian said to come back when he was published. Years later that same librarian came to the book launch of the first published anthology he was in. It was not until June of 2012 that he published his first solo novel, Red Island.
When he's not writing or marketing his work he is usually watching something that has to do with the
mystery/suspense/thriller genre's or having fun with his wife, two children, and four dogs.

Joe Symes & The Loving Kind are about to blast off the charts! Only together a couple of years this Liverpool band's career path is on a swift upward trajectory. Yes, they are that good! Bonus - they're fantastic guys.
Since the release of their debut album in 2013, the band have embarked on a non-stop journey all over the UK, performing in cities and towns from London to Glasgow. Taking their self-titled debut on an assault around the country has seen them pick up some major support slots including The Blockheads, Dodgy, XTC, Bloc Party and Alt-J, as well as hitting the Festival circuit, and coming to the attention of Creation Management’s Alan McGee. The album has also been greatly received in America, and had magazine and airplay all over the world.
With the release of their new single, Things Get Better, the band showcase how they have evolved, formed from more increasingly energetic live performances, with a heavier sound, but still keeping their distinctive feel found on the first album. Things Get Better has already begun to attract attention at home and abroad, being featured on BBC Introducing, being played at Anfield (Liverpool FC) on match days, as well as already having some International airplay.
Meet Joe Symes & The Loving Kind in Madame Perry's Salon tonight. Don't be left behind!
You're pregnant! Does your dog like children? There is a lot you can do to prepare your dog(s) for the arrival of your child. In "Good Dog, Happy Baby", Michael Wombacher talks about all different aspects of this topic from addressing behavioral problems to making the transition seamless. Did you know that carrying a doll around before the baby comes can help your dog get used to you having a little bundle attached to you all the time? How about setting up motorized baby swings before hand? Those can take some getting used to, and better to get a lot of that taken care of BEFORE the actually baby arrives.
