Coaching Impact Radio. Brought to you by Impact Coaching Academy.
In this conversation with Psychologist, Dr. Larry Friedberg, we discuss the trials and tribulations of getting your life back on track after divorce.
It’s not easy starting a new life again. In this program, we’ll explore the Feelings, Hurt, Fear, Guilt and Betrayal, associated with divorce. We address Parental Alienation issues, due in part, to a partner’s own personal abandonment issues they faced as a child. We’ll also be discussing Parenting Issues such as How to Parent Your Child During Divorce.
And Finally, I ask Dr. Friedberg the ultimate question… What is Love?
Are you experience feelings of frustration, shock, anger, resentment, loneliness, sadness, grief, guilt, and an overwhelming sense of loss? Are you feeling emotionally, financially and socially bankrupt? Are you feeling a haunting sense of failure because you blame yourself, but would like to move forward to Acceptance and Hope?
For most people, divorce is not a decision to be made lightly. It may be something that has been thought about for months, years, or even decades. With statistics as high as fifty percent of first-time marriages ending in divorce, we know many married people have crossed this unfortunate bridge. When making the decision to divorce, it is important to learn all you can about what to expect throughout the process.
Our featured guest is Kaysandra Curtis, a Divorce Coach, and she will share her 7 Step Divorce Recovery Process. Let's face it, divorce is hard! It's hard on the spouses getting the divorce. It's hard on the children involved in the divorce. It's hard on the family as a whole. So join our Host, Kelli Claypool, as she talks with Kaysandra Curtis about the recovery process of divorce.

On this weeks show our guest Joshua Beauchaine will talk about two recovery programs. SoCal Detox is a program located in Southern California and First Steps Recovery is located is Clovis Ca. Both of these programs are designed to take those in recovery to the next level of healing. Here Is a description from the web sites.
The first aspect residents notice about SoCal Detox is the respect and care we give to each person in our care. For many, hospital settings are cold and distant. Our detox specialists know that our residents are people, and they care for them in a personal way that is foundational in successful detox. Environment is important. Our ocean view property, located in San Clemente, California, is small and private, offering a non-threatening harbor for the first step to sobriety: detox. Our facility is a combination of breath-taking views, a culture that is well liked by our patients and a state of the art facility. We are fortunate to provide our patients with an environment that offers an entire panoramic of the Pacific Ocean. Our patients often spend hours just sitting and watching the incredible beauty this location has to offer, not to mention the sunsets.
First Steps Recovery is a residential detox program on a luxurious, 5 acre ranch in the beautiful foothills at the gate of Yosemite. Located just 15 miles east of Fresno in Clovis, we offer a highly monitored, safe detox that includes: monitored withdrawal services, withdrawal protocols, assessment, psycho-educational groups, yoga and exercise programs, case management, individual and group psychotherapy. Our physicians are specialists in detoxification and aftercare treatment.

The amazing woman has endured many trials and tribulations, and has still managed to survive. She wrote "Hi my name is Tillie, I was born in Xochimilco D.F. They say it's El Valle De Las Flores, sounds beautiful! The Valley of the Flower. I have been thru, sexual abuse after my mother's death to mental and physical abuse, that all led later to drug abuse just to function ...
There nothing nice about that, and the HARDEST thing for me was learning that I was still beautiful and still had a future.
This my story

The NNIA network presents Recovery Radio Fresno with Louis Angel and Alise Hegle
She is calling from Washington and has an awsome story. She wrote "I grew up in Seattle, Washington in a single-headed household. My mom
was full of so much love and tried her hardest to give me a beautiful
life. I never knew my father, he passed away when I was young due to a heroin overdose. I always felt there was something wrong with me since I never had a dad and this worthless self-limiting belief became engrained in me and acted as a driving force for many of my actions. When my mom and my step-dad divorced when I was almost in sixth grade, I became very angry. I began idolizing the criminals and gang-members in my community. I wanted their acceptance and in that process, I became very lost. I began using drugs and alcohol at this time and struggled with my addiction throughout my life. I was in and out of Juvenile Detention and as an adult, I found myself involved in the criminal justice system due to committing crimes to fuel my addiction." She had much more to tell, but tune in as we explore her life of recovery.
