Why do relationships seem to plummage downhill surrounding the very same issues that were obvious and prevalent since the initial stages of courtship? Is it because 1. These issues got larger/bigger on their own, with time, 2. They were given more focused attention by each partner, and therefore became more obvious 3. The obvious intolerance simply festered under the pretense of "if you ignore it it will simply go away," or 4. All of the above? Join Jahwie and Nalagy this week as we dissect this issue. Be There!
Fridays are extra special days on Following The Truth. In the first half of the program, Catholic Evangelist Gary Zimak looks at the "Hidden Power Of Kindness". Based on the book by Fr. Lawrence Lovasik (with some rare material from the out of print edition thrown in), Gary will offer advice on how we can learn to better love one another. While it can be one of the most difficult things we have to do as Christians, loving one another is necessary if we want to get to Heaven. In this episode, Gary will look at the dangerous mental sin of aversion. In the second half of the show, Gary will read and discuss the readings from the upcoming Sunday's Mass. This will be a jam packed show...be sure not to miss it!
It is a valid conclusion that everyone wants to feel appreciated - no matter who you are! However, it seems as if more and more men are feeling less and less appreciated in their relationships - and especially so in their marriages. For the most part, most are not verbally saying it or are even able to put this on going discontentment into words; they simply act out the symptoms of it. Some of it is evident in the recent increase in the number of successful strip clubs and frequently visited online sites that are popping up all over America and on the internet. Another common symptom is men and cheating! Unlike popular belief, more men cheat from a place of feeling powerless and unappreciated in their relationships and marriages than all other reasons combined. The real question is: How can anyone feel appreciation from someone else who doesn't necessarily feel it for themselves and vise versa? Jion Nalagy & Jahwie this week as we discuss...Be there!

I have always wondered what exactly is NO exclusion? The awareness i have got from claudia on this call is beyond imagination.
Know how much we exclude ourselves while we "like or dislike" anything.
What can we be or do different to include everyone, everything without judgement?
The salon is a place where we would like to go for full relaxation. But, we know that sometimes we just don't get it and a lot of times it is because of our stylist!
Listen in for what people like, and dislike about stylist.
LIVE: MY CHILD HATES all MY DATES what can I Do HELP ME!!!
When I introduced my son Brad, then age seven, to my new boyfriend, Brad introduced himself by biting him on the arm,” recalls Donna Peters of Seattle. “I was torn between running after Brad, consoling my boyfriend and dying of embarrassment.”
The boyfriend laughed it off, Brad eventually apologized, and Donna’s injured ego recovered. The teeth marks didn’t last, but neither did the relationship. “My boyfriend tried really hard, but he and Brad just never hit it off,” she says. “And I couldn’t see dating someone my son didn’t like.”
Sometimes you’re bitten by the love bug, and sometimes the love bug’s kid bites you. So what can single parents do if their children continue to dislike their dates long after the first meeting? Here’s the expert advice that works:
DON’T LET FOOLS RUSH IN
“Your children shouldn’t know you’re dating until the relationship is serious,” counsels Tina B. Tessina, a psychotherapist and author of The Unofficial Guide to Dating Again. She suggests giving your kids time to get comfortable with the idea that you are seeing someone before making introductions. “If you pressure your children to like your date, or go too fast for them to get comfortable with the situation, you’re asking for a lot of trouble.”

As a lawyer, you’ve been taught, “the work speaks for itself,” as if clients will just find you in the vast sea of competition. The truth is, you’re running a business and you must find ways to distinguish and market yourself, to let prospective clients know you’re out there, to persuade them to give you a chance.
One of the most powerful tools you have at your fingertips is video.
Video builds know, like, and trust faster than just about anything else. And there is more good news: Few businesses – and even fewer lawyers – have exploited this proven medium. They think video isn’t for them, or they dislike the idea of being on-camera, or the technology seems overwhelming, or they think they don’t have the budget.
Over 20 years ago, “Speech & Media Trainer to the Stars,” Ruth Sherman, M.A., set out to fix that by using skills and training learned as a successful New York City performer to teach business professionals to perform on-stage and on-camera, what Ruth calls Platform and VideoCharisma.
Ruth is certain about two things: First, everyone has a unique Charisma (presence) and can uncover it, enabling them to eliminate barriers, connect deeply with audiences, and convert them into high-paying customers. Second, most people won't do what it takes, so if you do, you have a default competitive advantage. Instead of boring, you become a magnet.
Ruth’s clients include top global CEOs, Oscar-winning movie stars and international celebrities.
Heather Bussing, Employement Lawyer, Discusses Diversity and Why it Scares Us
Employment Law changes because people change. Heather Bussing stops by to share some keen insights on diversity and discrimination.
What do you need to know? Why should you care? What is the ultimate impact on hiring and HR? On business?
"We call each other horrible names: misogynist, racist, homophobe, ageist, ignorant, evil. And we mean it. We believe these labels are true, and sometimes they are. Yet, in calling people names, we exhibit the exact hatred, dislike, mistrust, and mistreatment we are complaining of. We end up fighting discrimination by judging every other person as biased, then alienating anyone who is not our particular brand of victim."

CALL to listen LIVE! (347) 237-5342 "WHAT (really) TURNS A MAN OFF?"
On this episode of The LADY JAZ LIVE Show, this question is freely approached with candidness and honesty. We may even be surprised at some of the things that REALLY turn him off.
It’s not easy for a man to tell his wife or girlfriend what she does to irritate him. Confessions like that tend to lodge themselves deep inside a woman’s subconscious, never to be forgotten…ever.
More than that, women tend to focus so much on their so-called “faults” that it can feel excessive to give you more reasons to be critical of yourselves. But in the name of healthy communication, sometimes it’s important for couples to air their grievances. So let’s take a journey together. Ladies, don’t think of this show as a way to point out things men DISLIKE about you, think of it more as things the will bring you closer to your man, by not doing them.
Lady Jaz welcomes her special guest, Lionell Artemus from Philadelphia, a passionate entreprenuer with a genuine concern for matters of the heart.
