Christian Jungersen, author of "You Disappear" does not have a brain injury. He is not a caregiver for a person with brain injury, yet he was able to create a plausible world of a family who is enveloped in the world of brain injury. Jungersen takes his readers on the twisted journey of Frederick, a headmaster at a prestigious school; Mia, his wife and a reputable schoolteacher; and their teenage son, Niklas as they are caught in the the web of brain injury.
Every TBI survivor and caregiver has encountered a fork in the road that has diverted his or her life-plan. A car accident, a fall from the roof, doing one more chin-up, or a door literally slamming one in the face are just some causes of traumatic brain injury. College plans, walking down the aisle in the perfect dress, or the coveted job quickly slip from reality as dreams turn to struggle. These unexpected life-happenings that divert one from his or her chosen path in life can be devastating. But as Yogi Berra once said, "If you come to a fork in the road, take it." Life is all about choices!

For years, charitable organizations have gone hat in hand to the wealthy, middle class and poor alike to generate the money to fund their good works. But is this model outdated? And is there an easier, more reliable way to create income for philanthropies?
Our guest, Sam Caster, has successfully run an international charitable organization that has provided millions of servings of micronutrients to children in 86 different countries - including children in North Korea. Yet in 2008, with the collapse of the economy, he saw 70% of his funding disappear. Faced with the instability of relying on discretionary income, he wondered if there were a better way to generate income to serve the children. And he found it.
He will share how he has created a unique funding model that uses the engine of private enterprise to fuel his dream of ending childhood malnutrition while providing sustainable income for any nonprofit organization.
Join us Thursday March 19th at 5PM for this exciting interview.
Why is it that UFOs can appear from nowhere? How is it that they can just disappear or shoot out of the atmosphere at an impossible speed? Why do some UFOs just disappear into the ground? Are some UFOs something other than physical. Could they be interdimensional or spiritual in nature? We'd like to look at these things tonight and other things if time permits. Please join us tonight on Opposing The Matrix. The show airs at 6PM Pacific and 9PM Pacific. The call in number is 619-768-7259.
When a routine 911 call turns deadly, Paramedic Sara Dyer finds herself held at gunpoint by Jason Keegan, an injured psych-ward patient charged with murder. The situation spirals out of Sara’s control when the confrontation becomes a tense standoff between Keegan and the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service.
As Keegan’s hostage, Sara fights to save them both before he blows them up. She realizes his warning to the Cayman police is no empty threat since he’d rather die than spend the rest of his life in a prison cell. Sara soon discovers Keegan is just as determined to survive as she is - provided he can escape Grand Cayman and disappear forever. As she struggles to trust in God’s protection, help from an atheist turns her struggle into a lure away from her faith.

THIS WEEK’S MESSAGE:
You have an idea for a book. You’re excited about your concept. You know just what should be included. Then, you begin roughing out details in a file. You share your idea with your closest friends. Some of them love it; some of them are so-so. Several are not encouraging. Now, your enthusiasm is dampened. You’re giving the idea a second thought. Doubting yourself, you think you’ll shelve the book – for now. How could something that made your energy level accelerate and your mind expand with possibilities suddenly be worthy of shelving? When a dream is withering, it’s time to reexamine your priorities. Can you let your dream disappear? Don’t let your inspiration waver because of the crowd’s opinion. Trust yourself. Books are precious and important.
If you’ve been inspired to write a book, start putting words on the page.
Everyone has some aspects of their personality that can be annoying at times. If the one you love gets on your nerves sometimes, that's normal. Most things you can learn to overlook, forgive, and ignore, such as messiness, bossiness, forgetfulness, crankiness, and other behaviors that may appear or disappear depending upon your mate's moods. But some negative behaviors can be so intense as to cause emotional distress. How can you tell when you should be patient, tolerant and forgiving and when you should put your foot down because you're being abused? Today we'll discuss some situations that our listeners are experiencing and determine where to draw the line when it comes to tolerating unpleasant behavior from your mate.

Life's Issues with Lloyd Rosen with his guest Vanessa Landry & Mark Smith:
Vanessa Landry - I'm a 51 year old female her lost her job in corporate America 3 years ago. Still cannot get employment. I am an author of two christian poetry books. An Invitation To My Heart and Longing For Your Love while In The Wilderness. www.outskirtspress.com/longingforyourlove
Mark Smith - How would you feel if you were told that by the age of 20 you’d be in a wheelchair? What if your father was so abusive you slept with a baseball bat every night? After overcoming all that, you finally make it big and hear cheers every night as a professional wrestler for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Then you lose your family in the blink of an eye. You feel lost and life is over. Where do you go from there? That is my story.
Our book “One Last Hurrah…Making Peace and a Difference” is our story of making peace with a past that gave us every excuse to accept failure. It’s through making peace, that our hearts can be fully dedicated to making differences in families and communities. Our story includes the miracle healing of our son’s blood disorder, being told by a pastor’s wife that we must pray (laying on hands) for a pastor’s cancer to disappear (it did within a month) , and working with U.S. Special Forces.
We will start off the show with a Divine Guidance Oracle Reading for our planet Gaia. We will then take calls. Watch the video link below. Truly amazing to see a bladder tumor disappear before your eyes. It can happen, has happened and these folks were smart enough to run a sonogram machine while doing the healing.

Cyber bullying affects many adolescents, teens and adults on a daily basis. Cyber bullying involves using technology, like cell phones and the Internet, to bully or harass another person. Cyber bullying can take many forms:
Sending mean messages or threats to a person's email account or cell phone
Spreading rumors online or through texts
Posting hurtful or threatening messages on social networking sites or web pages
Stealing a person's account information to break into their account and send damaging messages
Pretending to be someone else online to hurt another person
Taking unflattering pictures of a person and spreading them through cell phones or the Internet
Sexting, or circulating sexually suggestive pictures or messages about a person
Cyber bullying can be very damaging to adolescents, teens and adults. It can lead to anxiety, depression, and even suicide. Also, once things are circulated on the Internet, they may never disappear, resurfacing at later times to renew the pain of cyber bullying.
Last week I went on a bit of a rant on regulations and the industry. We thought it went really well, we shared the perspectives of people I don't necessarily agree with, but a good discussion has multiple viewpoints.
Of course this led to some angry emails, and people telling me that I should disappear.. but most importantly it led to today's conversation on leading by example, and using anger in a positive way-- to make positive changes in the world.
So yes, I admit, I am a bit angry with this country, with our industry. When I look back at my life and my father's life as an Owner Operator, and I am inspired by this image of a successful, positive, self-efficient, self-improving, professional man. I want to make this world a better place, like the community my father was part of.
We take your calls and hear your opinions on change and the trucking industry.
