    Joyce has been hosting a family from a village on the west coast of Ecuador who are in Boston to get life-saving heart surgery for their son.  Not only have they traveled a great distance, but Boston has very different weather than the tropical weather of Ecuador, the food is entirely different, and they don't speak any English.

    They also chat about some of the highlights of the shows of 2014, and foreshadow next week's Christmas week show about considering clinical trials, and the resources that are available to assist you in finding and joining clinical trials that might be helpful in your situation.

    BROOKLYN, NY (Thursday, November 20, 2014) – TODAY, SOLO (the group)  debuts new video for the R&B group’s first single – GONE.  The video is entertaining, soulful and poetic,  capturing the energy and classic sound of the group.  Shot exclusively in Brooklyn, NY and directed by Kofi Okai, the video is a refreshing and upbeat party on screen, touching on the  groups’ sensitive side, when ‘Gone’ in love. 
    Released on SoloVEVO channel, the  video follows Dan Stokes, D Nell Chavis and Rob Anderson to an expected ‘date night’ with their special ladies,  much to their surprise the evening turns into a celebration! The guys worked closely with the Director on the concept for  the video, a vibrant and smooth story of loving relationships, good friends and  cool vibes – all wrapped around that ‘feel  good’ music fans are accustomed to. 

    “The video is exactly what we wanted for our first single!  It's a fresh take on that classic SOLO feel  good music our fans love us for. The video doesn't even show all the fun we  had shooting it….at the end of the 18-hour day, everyone was still parting to  the song even asking, ‘where is the after  party?’  It was the vision of  director Kofi Okai who brought our music to life and great editing and styling  from friends Bobby Yan and Stacey Jordan.”

    Timotha Lanae is an American soul songstress, a dynamic dancer and an award winning theatrical performer who seamlessly joins together her passion for music and theater.     Widely known for her role as “Janine Payne” on the hit TBS sitcom “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne,” which has taped over 254 episodes and received five NAACP Image Awards for Best Sitcom, Demetria can currently be seen on Lifetime in a recurring “Devious Maids” role, and on TV One as a primary character on “The Rickey Smiley Show.” The first single off of the EP is sure fire club and radio hit titled “100.”  It is a hip hop infused women’s anthem featuring one of the genre’s first ladies - Da Brat. “I think this song is going to be the last thing that people expected to hear from me, but it is really who I am,” laughs Demetria. “I like to say the song was ‘inspired’ by me. I didn’t write it but it came out of a conversation I had with the producers (the good guys) about what I wanted to represent on the project.” Demetria really wanted a female rapper on “100” and a mutual friend connected her with Da Brat, who loved the song and agreed to lend her vocals.
