Few Gospel artists are blessed to be dubbed a “quadruple threat”. But then again, few artists have the talents of Restine Jackson. A singer, songwriter, producer and composer, Jackson has been doused with amazing musical gifts. But to box this blessed young man in with just four gifts gives a partial picture of this exceptional individual. The Washington, DC area-based psalmist is also known as a dynamic speaker, teacher, worship leader and motivational speaker. As the head of Restine Jackson & Grace, he’s appeared in concert with top names including Mary Mary, Yolanda Adams, Vickie Winans, Ricky Dillard & New G, Deitrick Haddon & The Voices of Unity and many others. Many were introduced to this musical sensation on television shows like BET’s Teen Summit and Bobby Jones Gospel. Many remember the artist from his national hit, “I Command My Soul To Bless The Lord." His current single is the memorable, laid-back track, “Nobody”. The single is from his forthcoming CD, I’m Free, his fourth musical effort. Popular Gospel Radio Announcers have hailed the new single with Liz Black calling it “refreshing” and Lee Michaels saying “‘NOBODY’ will be able to ignore this wonderful message”. Cheryl Jackson says, “I absolutely love it” and Lady Shaunte’ proclaims the track flaunts a “fresh sound with great lyrics”. He attended Morgan State University in Baltimore where he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music Performance in Classical Piano and later a Masters of Arts Degree in Music Performance.

Interview with Singer/Songwriter - Stacey Hampton is a female solo artist basing most of her music in folk rock with a touch of country, a hint of bluegrass and a sprinkle of funk.
I was born in Downey, California but raised in Kansas City. I started playing music at a young age until I was introduced to athletics. I sought after a soccer career and even made it to the level of playing semi-pro. I picked up the guitar my sophomore year of college and also began to write a lot of poetry at the time. Suddenly I found myself wanting to combine the two. I have been playing and writing music for about 18 years now, and want to share it with the world!

Nicholas Snow is truly honored to welcome to the show Nhojj to dicuss his music (three tracks featured in this episode) and Michael Burlingame's powerful documentary, Out On The Tracks, which centers on the Nhojj and a man who heard him sing and was so moved that he wanted to share his voice with the world. With a 25 year age difference and coming from contrasting social, ethnic and racial backgrounds, these two men share the core belief that music can transcend barriers and bring people together: thus Nhojj enters the recording studio giving birth to the groundbreaking "Made To Love Him" sessions. Affirming the LGBTQ community through same-sex renditions of classic love songs, this gentle and human documentary touches upon the themes of love, hope and self-acceptance, and explores the recording process and the power of music.
At his offiical website we learn, "With a force that exudes his passion for love and life, a tone that resounds in both whisper and wail, and a consciousness that, without being preachy, speaks truth to power, Nhojj has spent more than a decade becoming what some regard as a “soul pioneer”. “I want to make the world better…one song at a time!” Nhojj says, a statement that underscores a classic soul tradition of having a “message in the music”.
