Our Guest expert: Danielle Cook, MS, RD, CDE – Functional Medicine Nutritionist | With a Master’s Degree in Nutrition & Food Science, and a diverse background in the field of nutrition. Danielle has worked as an inpatient Clinical Dietitian, a Nutrition Support Specialist (specializing in tube & intravenous feedings), and a Diabetes Educator/Dietitian in an outpatient setting. She has taught classes at the university level including nutrition, upper level metabolism, environmental and world hunger, and graduate level dietetics. After contracting an illness while traveling, Danielle sought out several modalities of medicine in her journey back to wellness. On this journey she discovered functional medicine. It was this piece to the puzzle that helped her start to regain her health and wellness. Danielle is now specializing in functional, preventative nutrition.
